Y’all convinced me. She’s going into the portal and going to check if that offer from Handicap State will be honored. Mom’s gonna get a lot of FB likes for my little angel and she can enter the working world still in her safe space where everything is both hunky and dory.
Hard work is for others anyway!!!!!

Take the easy ride. Others will take the more difficult and satisfying approach. I’m quite sure who will be better served in the working world.
Takes all kinds.

My kid doesn’t play for Rutgers but I will chime in from her perspective. She was always the best, or one of, on mid to poor teams. When she was being recruited she was firm: Did not want to go into a team and start right away. She wanted to be on the best team she could (yes academics location finances etc) and have to work for it. She has always dreamed of sitting the bench for a Big School
She got her wish. Her team will make noise in the thr NCAA’s and she hasn’t played much as a first year. She’s ok with it, for now. Probably even next year but by year 3 I expect something different
Its tougher on me than on her right now.
she could be playing on crappy teams but not what she wanted

Noticed a few different kids getting more time. Was it injuries or did it take MO the whole season to see the obvious?
