What you are not seeing is the middle is growing a bit. The fringes are more entrenched but the middle is still in play. The Dems are blowing it. All they needed to do was trot out someone reasonably electable in the general. They couldn't do it. Now their only hope is to have a brokered convention and pray that a centrist Democrat can win.
