I’ve posted here a long time. This is a serious question. I’m cynical too but I assure you this is a naturally occurring virus.

If you want something to be paranoid about, I gently suggest that you reflect on this challenge where we actually have a chance to bend the curve. Imagine thiufh this WAS a bioterror attack .That would bring max illness very quickly and our lack of preparedness would be cataclysmic wouldn’t it.

Perhaps that will convince you we need to spend a lot of defense budget preparing for that (as us scientists have said for years). BONUS: if we can defend against bio terror , sams resources save us from naturally occurring threats
Naturally occurring, but doesn't mean it wasn't manually propagated. Maybe an unfortunate event was used as a springboard for a fortunate result for the Chinese. Easier to slide by with a naturally-occurring event vs. a bioterror attack. Harder to assess blame until it's too late. Trump has pissed off so many people, hard to say what they will do in retaliation.

Who's sam by the way and what resources does he have to offer?

don't give us any BS what you think a country "would" or "would not" do as you are insignificant commoner and not "in the know".
There is a Mt Everest size flaw to ^^^^ logic

Mustard gas deaths aren’t INFECTIOUS. Cannon balls aren’t either. Plus, they are weapons where the effects have been assessed before use. Not so with a virus. No one would know what would happen in advance. What if it killed 30% of their people and burned itself out like SARS before infecting the West.

Not a great time to speculate about conspiracy theories WITHOUT some fact basis. I would also politely ask that you recognize you might be in a little over your head in making assertions about matters such as these

The Boston area is fortunate in that we have many more excellent hospitals than our population requires. Boston has about a million residents and the MSA is about 5 million.

The fact that we have large, well funded and very capable hospitals is a fortunate thing in this environment. If these places were being built today on need and business case, there is simply no way it would make sense. Good for us. Unfortunately, I still feel that they will be overtaxed. However, I wouldn't trade places with many other areas.

This article captures precisely what we have in Trump. I urge all to read it. Including the those trying to blame everyone but their Dear Leader for the country's failure to prepare.

As I’ve mentioned this is not reasonable at all. The Chinese would not know how this virus would act when intentionally released. Could have been like SARS. Killed lots of Asians and never really a problem in the west.

Read how that guy sounds ^^^^ there ....”doesn’t mean” ....”maybe” ....”fortunate result” ....”hard to assess” ....”hard to say”....

So many weak, wishy washy words there. People speaking with confident knowledge of their topic don’t talk like this. They talk like I am to the readers right now

Not the OP, but Jeezus H Chryst stop with the agenda-setting already. It's so tiring having to read what you want to talk about and the mockery if something else comes along.

I get you are used to talking to yourself all day in the basement, but the rest of us are versed in talking about various things and various topics and can handle it.

              Unreal.

                Understood.

It's OK to float Trump theories all the time, but when someone floats something different, panties get wadded up.

Hospitals in Boston are running out of the $*%#ing swans to stick in your throat to do the test.
I hear we still can’t test much because of lack of reagents. I know researchers have been asked to turn over any appropriate RNA prep kits on their lab shelves to the clinical labs

Other countries bought up much of this stuff when they took things more seriously earlier

makes no difference and your attempt at "the spin" is poor.

You said a country would not attack there own people....I simply showed you two examples (out of many others) in history where they would. (does it really matter if it was a gun, knife, gas, cannon ball, arrows, ect?).

I’m happy to have the readers evaluate what I’m saying alongside with what your saying and they can make their own conclusions. What I didn’t do was start ad hominem attacks and name calling. That’s what you immediately did as always when someone other than you floated something different.

Go ahead. Attack me. I don’t care. I’m fact you will support the obvious point in this post.

What I’m NOT going to do is address you much at all. Talking to everyone else and ignoring you except for some truth telling. But won’t address it to you. Going to readers direct.

His job approval numbers are still in the low 40s and 90% of republicans think he's doing a good job handling the crisis. But considering his strength is in red states with fewer cases (so far) those opinions will chance in the next few weeks. Also, all it will take is peeling off some independents and getting back the anti Hillary voters for Trump to lose. The crisis will make that very easy to do. That is why Biden is crushing it now - everyone knows a moderate Dem has a way better chance to do that then Bernie.

That said, never say never with the EC; that's why making sure Congress goes fully blue is critical

Have you down for the latter.

Also PROVE you aren’t OP otherwise you assert facts that just can’t be in evidence

Got it. You attack a group of people (mistakenly attribute it to the wrong group of people) get called out on it, and then whine behind the "ad hominem attack" line again.

Can resend the agenda on what YOU want to talk about that WE all have to fall in line to?

Talk about someone trying to structure the message...sounds like possibly we have a Chinese mole on our hands here.
