This of course had nothing to do with delays but by eliminating FDA review pretty much anyone can put a covid-19 test out there without FDA review .

Agreed, this is panic worthy BUT this isn't the flu either. Keep aware of developments, have some basics on hand in case you get sick or are in a vulnerable group. Look in on the elderly who may be afraid to go out. The hospitalization rate worries me the most. God forbid you have an accident or need emergency surgery.

Should we tell that Covid-19 infections are covered under the term “viral pneumonia.” And that “other” corona viruses like those that cause the common cold (I think there are 4 basic strains that circle the globe year round ) and flu viruses all cause pneumonia ? Over 1,600 children under 15 years of age die each year
Nearly 8,000 people are killed in crashes involving drivers ages 16-20
Road crashes cost the U.S. $230.6 billion per year, or an average of $820 per person
Road crashes are the single greatest annual cause of death of healthy U.S. citizens traveling abroad.

The corona virus will not even come close to claiming 37000 people this year (in the US 50,000 will die from pneumonia this year.
