Nancy's game is almost up....she is being exposed
An immigration attorney said Tuesday that she believes President Trump's latest offer to Democrats on his long-promised border wall will greatly benefit her clients.
The Senate Appropriations Committee unveiled a bill on Monday that would provide the $5.7 billion Trump is seeking for the construction of the wall, and would also fully fund the government through Sept. 30.
The legislation is in line with Trump's offer, which also includes a three-year protections extension for 700,000 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients.
Attorney Linda Vega said that the majority of her clients would benefit from what Trump has proposed, adding that his offer to DACA recipients would let them adjust their status to allow them opportunity to work or study in America.
"It's a great offer for a starting point," she said.
She also said that she's surprised Democrats haven't looked at Trump's offer more favorably.

(CNN) — Former FBI General Counsel James Baker is under criminal investigation for leaks, according to new information released by Republicans on the House Oversight Committee.
Two of President Donald Trump's Republican allies on Capitol Hill are raising questions about a leak investigation involving Baker in a letter to the Justice Department on Tuesday. Baker has become a central focus of some Republicans recently as his closed-door testimony to lawmakers last fall confirmed that top officials at the FBI were concerned that the President may have been working to benefit Russia, particularly after the firing of FBI Director James Comey.
In a letter to US Attorney John Durham, Reps. Mark Meadows and Jim Jordan of the conservative House Freedom Caucus cite a previously undisclosed portion of Baker's transcript where his lawyer interjected to say: "he's been the subject of a leak investigation that is ... still active at the Justice Department."
The lawyer then went on to caution where Baker's discussions with reporters came up. Asked if this was a criminal investigation by Meadows, Baker's attorney replied "yes."
A former top FBI lawyer told House lawmakers last year he personally involved himself in the warrant application to spy on then-Trump campaign aide Carter Page, admitting it was an “unusual move,” Fox News reported Monday.
James Baker, who left the FBI last year, told investigators he was involved early in the process of securing the FISA warrant, according to a confidential transcript of his October meeting with House investigators, Fox News reported.
Mr. Baker said he wanted to see the report before it went through the process to be finalized and went to former FBI Director James Comey, Fox News said quoting from a transcript.
“I wanted to see it and I wanted to read it because I knew it was sensitive,” the news outlet quotes him as saying.
Mr. Baker said such steps were unusual, but necessary because the situation was “sensitive,” according to the report.
