Anyone with half a brain would have asked upon seeing the initial video, "So?" The kids are being rude, but why does rudeness become national news? Of course we know the answer to that is the MAGA hat.

I saw an interview with his attorney. He claimed Cohen is concerned for his family's safety. You can imagine some Trump nutters have sent death threats. But, he also has a monumental sized ego and would love all the attention on him. If they want to protect him they should have the hearing be a surprise announcement prior to the scheduled date. He'll get sent to a minimum security Club Fed and will be fine. He could have gone for much longer and he knows it.

Avanatti disappeared because of an embarrassing DV charge (dropped) and financial issues (he probably wasn't taking enough clients to pay for all his flights for news appearances).
