Trump held a rally in Houston where 100,000 people requested tickets even though the Toyota Center there can accommodate just 18,000.

“If people stand out in the rain and sun for hours, camp out overnight and take off work to attend a rally, then they’ll certainly show up to vote."

And I don't think they'll be voting for Democrats.

Trump actually as been going to smaller venues and has been focusing on areas where he has more fans. The TX venue was an exception as it was in a large city and a larger venue.

"As the president campaigns, he has mostly avoided the suburban areas that strategists say will be key to deciding the midterms — and where he is often less popular and runs the risk of energizing Democrats or hurting Republican candidates who have tried to distance themselves from him. Over the past few weeks, he has focused heavily on more rural areas where he is especially popular and where his presence can encourage the base voters Republican candidates need.

Of the 27 midterm rallies Trump has held this year, more than three-quarters were held in counties that he won in 2016 by an average of 59.5 percent. The few times that he has ventured to counties that Democrat Hillary Clinton won, those places are nearly always surrounded on all sides by counties that he won. And more than a third of the rallies were in or near the Appalachian Mountains, where his popularity remains high.

The campaign frequently issues tickets to thousands more than an event space can seat, guaranteeing a full crowd and ensuring that the president will be able to brag that he had to turn people away — a number that, like the number who get in, Trump often wildly exaggerates.

Although Trump regularly claims that tens of thousands of supporters flock to see him, the average capacity of his rally venues this year is about 8,000. The largest venue so far has been the Charleston Civic Center in West Virginia, which can hold 13,500 — although Trump was unable to fill it in late August."

Meanwhile Fox has scaled back coverage of his rallies because they no longer bring in the ratings

You mean lifetime Democrats are not particularly technical or educated. In fact they have been known to blow up their own.... literally.

Three members of the Weather Underground, Obama friend, Bill Ayer's radical group, were killed in the accidental Greenwich Village townhouse explosion.

Read post above. He is picking areas where he has more fans. He's also going to smaller venues and doesn't even always fill them. It's not representative of an area's broader voting base. Last I checked you can only vote once so a Trump super fan can't vote like it's buying lottery tickets. Fox isn't covering his events which means THEIR viewership has become bored with them.

Everyone who knew him said he went off in 2016. "Found his tribe" and "felt someone was speaking to him" were typical quotes

You do know mental illness is medical.
You do know who took away financial support from mental institutions.
You do know what party supports healthcare.

The coliseum holds 9,500 people, and the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority predicts every seat — and parking space — will be full.

Thursday night's Trump rally drew the Ford Center's largest crowd ever, according to manager VenuWorks. The turnout: 11,500 people, with another 2,000 unable to get in.

That's about one tenth of the Evansville population.
