Shooting outside of a synagogue in Pittsburgh, the shooter ranting about killing jews as he was arrested. I'm sure the Trussian trolls (Trump + Russian) are already at work photo shopping pictures and trying to blame the left.

Condolences to the victims, police (at least one officer shot) and the city of Pittsburgh. It's a great city.

The left has been completely anti-Jewish for awhile now. Look at the anti-Israel rhetoric and the lack of support in the UN. Being anti-semitic is almost part of their platform.

Look at Obama's lack of support of Israel. The left would be a good place to start based on their politics.

�Watching the Dodgers/Red Sox final innings. It is amazing how a manager takes out a pitcher who is loose & dominating through almost 7 innings, Rich Hill of Dodgers, and brings in nervous reliever(s) who get shellacked. 4 run lead gone. Managers do it all the time, big mistake!�

Yes he's such an expert in baseball or other sports. Wasn't he on the school bowling team in college while he was dodging the draft?

He also went after the wealthy Dem donor on Saturday (forget his name) who had had a bomb sent to him two days earlier and the same day as the synagogue attack. A real class act

I don't put much of any stock in state level polls; they usually suck in terms or reliability of sampling - the samples are too small, creating a larger margin of error. That means just a few thousand votes can take it either direction. Some that showed HRC winning when she actually lost.

What I do know is the pipe bomber and synagogue shooter have caused some to take pause over where this nation is going. We'll know in 9 days where it all ends up.

Nah. In 8 days we will see if history repeats itself and to what degree.

Avg House seat loss for a President's party when said president is below 50% approval rating is 36 according to this article.

Just for context, the GOP picked up 60 House seats in 2010.

Anything less than this is troubling for the Dems. 36 seats is the Mendoza line just be average. My guess is that it will be less than that. It won't stop the Dems from taking a victory lap but they have had so little to cheer for lately I won't begrudge them.

Considering Congress is so dysfunctional it won't matter in the day to day. What will likely change is that Pelosi will have the gavel and much more face time. Great news for the Grand Ole Party.
