It's just a matter of whether any Democrats will vote for him. My bet is there will be.

            Just checking in.

It’s a general thing. I got texts today from two nutters in my extended family.

They're definitely starting to worry. Trump is telling folks the midterms are all about him, and they are. But the GOP is telling candidates that for most of them they better stay away from Trump and keep to your local race issues. Trump still doesn't understand why his involvement couldn't save Roy Moore - yes, Trump thinks his magic touch should have saved the most unredeemable candidate in recent times.

Meanwhile Trump is claiming he's "disappointed Obama went political." lmao. What is Trump's obsession with Obama? He's not even in office any longer. After years of listening to Trump bash him, his legitimacy, his policies Obama has always kept his cool and doesn't go for personal insults. The contrast between his speech the other day and Trump's rally rants couldn't be more different

Guessing you forgot how Barry laid the blame for anything and everything at Bush’s feet. Standard protocol is that once you are out of office you pipe down.

New rules now. Look forward to Trump being Trump!

P.S. The Dems lost 1000 seats under Barry. Keep trotting him out.

Many of those seats are up for grabs across the country. Voter registration is up and so has turnout in primaries.. Obama brings in much fundraising dollars (as always the Dems are behind on this). His presence is a reminder of how far this country has fallen under Trump in such a short period of time. I wasn't an Obama policy fan but he always was and remains a class act, devoted family man, statesman to represent our country on the world stage. Despite my tax cut and 401 K performance I have to put the TV on mute whenever Trump speaks.

Did anyone bother to fact check Obama's speech? Probably not because the liberal media takes anything he says as gospel. The one thing I know is he said "I" 152 times.

Trump’s language has been studied. If you review a number of his speeches, those using his own words, not material written for him, you will quickly realize that the most commonly repeated words Trump employs are some form of the first person singular pronoun, i.e., I or ME, its possessive, i.e., MINE, or his OWN NAME. The man is a narcissist and it shows in his word choices.

The next most commonly found words in Trump’s speech are adjectives, often superlatives, such as HUGE , GREAT, BEST, BIGGEST, or BIGLY. Trump is incapable of dealing with subtleties, or nuances. Everything must be exaggerated and depicted in terms of black and white.

Trump seldom uses words of more than two or three syllables. Whenever he does employ words that are not part of his normal vocabulary, such as his use of the word TRANSPARENT, he will lock on to it and repeatedly insert it into his speech in ways that are often inappropriate.

But the most annoying aspect of Trump’s speech is his tendency to repeat himself. Having very little to say but desirous of hearing himself talk, Trump will frequently repeat the same simple thought or phrase three different times in the same paragraph. That Trump tendency may result from the man’s acknowledged fascination with the speeches of Adolph Hitler, a copy of which his former wife stated he kept at his bedside. Note this statement written by Hitler: “The receptivity of the masses is very limited, their intelligence is small, but their power of forgetting is enormous. In consequence of these facts, all effective propaganda must be limited to a few essential points. . . . These slogans must be repeated until every last member of the public understands what you want him to understand.” Is that not a Trump stylistic device?

Trump’s speech uniquely combines the vocabulary of a poorly educated fifth grader with the braggadocio of a narcissist…and maybe a bit of the demagogue.
