- 45% of students "did not demonstrate any significant improvement in learning" over the first two years of college. Close to 40% didn't learn anything at all over 4 years.

- Found a 50% decline in time spent by students on academics over past decades. 35% of students spend no more than 5 hours a week on academics. The average amount of time spent on ALL academic activities is only 2.76 hours/day.

- Students spent more than twice as much time on recreational activities than they do on academics.

Two separate studies by the National Assessment of Adult Literacy shows a consistent decline in U.S. adult literacy in the last 25 years, despite rising college enrollment. Most college grads fall below proficiency in verbal and quantitative literacy. Only 31% of college grads could read or understand a complex book.

Graduates in studies like Women and Gender have increased by 300% in that same time frame.

You'd THINK people would stop and re-assess their political positions when they realize they have to resort to recruiting illegals, felons and children to help them win elections.
