I am saying that any decision on what is legal or not is not to be determined by what is printed on a website. There are many factors and variables to be considered. Have you ever served on a Jury ? In a big case ?
What can't be denied is that one Group had a Permit to assemble and Protest, the other did not.

Some of the first 'punches' were thrown by the Demonstrators, some were thrown by anti-Demonstrators. One person is dead and the Demonstrator that killed her, and injured 19 others, will be convicted of her murder.

What can't be denied is that one Group had a Permit to assemble and Protest, the other did not.

There needs to be a law that if you attend any sort of demonstration dressed for or prepared for combat that you should immediately be locked up. Neither side can claim innocence in this case.

As for your first point...my initial reaction is that's common sense. However, as we've seen, it's not always those "dressed" for combat that are the problem. Instead, it's the guy driving a car, throwing bottles, bricks, etc. that have done the most damage.

I believe the atmosphere becomes explosive when you see people wearing helmets and carrying bats, clubs, etc. That can push things over the edge from demonstrating to chaos.
