Basically, everything you said, can just as easily be flipped, if you want to paint with such broad strokes.
Oh come on. If you take nutters and libs as a whole the libs are much more thoughtful about being green.

I have never seen a Prius with a Trump or Cruz bumper sticker on it. Don't expect to either.

You nutters think that you can just throw any sh t against the wall and that it will stick. That is because within your own kind you will believe anything. Libs are far more discriminating and analytical when it comes to sorting through the noise of daily life.

Nutter memes on the interweb are almost always partly or wholly false. The cognitive dissonance of nutters is really remarkable. The birther movement is a prime example. Not too far removed from flat earthers. It is really kind of funny watching them congratulate each other on the perceived cleverness of the garbage they toss back and forth on fb etc. Sad and funny at the same time. Funny in kind of a pathetic way.

Hows that pro discrimination law in NC working for ya. Within 6 months to a year there are going to be a lot of unemployed people due to the impact. My company just imposed a ban on doing business with companies operating out of NC. I know many others doing the same thing. I recently bought furniture and made sure it was not made in NC. Walked right past that stuff.

My bro-in-law is pretty far right, drives a Prius. Has a "Who is John Galt?" and vintage "Reagan" sticker on it. Drives people crazy.

      Keep painting.

        Nice rant.

Didn't actually address the points brought up, but nice rant anyway.

Probably true overall. That's not the point. You used your mother-in-law as an example of all "nutters". I used my father-in-law as an example of the opposite. Neither is correct, but your paintbrush isn't built that way.

See post above, proving you factually wrong. There's that paintbrush again.

I love this, maybe the most. You did the EXACT same thing, throwing things against the wall while railing against people who throw things against the way. Of course, your broad strokes paint libs in a great light, cons in a bad light, to attempt to prove your point while not actually proving anything. Well done. Keep painting.

So we are going to base our political beliefs on someone in a basement playing with MSPaint. Really? Have actually done a study to look up every meme out there, for each side, and then done a fact check? My word, that must've taken you years.

Personally, I look to soccer message boards for to enhance my political intellectual knowledge.

Prime example of what? Crazy people? Not too far removed from flat earthers? Could you explain your correlation? Yeah, I do agree watching people on fb congratulate each other on the garbage they toss back in forth. Some of those libbies on there really are cuckoo, huh?

For me? I'm not a fan. I don't really care much about NC, but mostly because it's an area I travel through, not to. On the surface, I do believe in the States deciding for what is best for them, not handed down by the Feds. We are too diverse of a Nation to have New York values, for example, forced upon rural areas of the country. But, while I believe IN a God, I'm not religious and prefer to live in harmony with everyone, no matter what color they are or where they put their wankie.

Did you climb under each tabletop to see where it was made? That must've been quite a site.

I have many conservative friends in general I find discussions with them to be at about a fourth grade level. Complex concepts confound them and there is no original thought. Progressives much different. Hierarchical thinking, references to specific empirical data and facts, overall much more stimulating and believe it or not - open to new ideas and ways of thinking about old problems. The cons? Meh. Not so much. A good example is Ted Cruz. How do you solve ISIS? Carpet Bomb them. Everyone in the military laughed at that.

So you think states should be able to legislate discriminatory laws of any kind without federal interference. Clearly you must know about Brown v Topeka or do you think that was a mistake? Or do you think that SCOTUS has no authority over the states. If I recall a fairly bloody internal war was fought that resolved most of those issue. But then again there are lots of nutters who still think the civil war hasn't been decided yet.

                Paint brush out again.

Everything you said could just as easily be flipped to the other side. Had a discussion with a fast-food worker picketing about her need for $15. She has 6 kids, lives at home, can't make ends meet. Works about 30 hours a week. Can't be more than 25 years old. Smoking like a chimney the entire time.

I asked her why with the cost of living here compared to NYC, that $15 will go much further than it will in NYC. Is that fair? No answer.

I said I knew for a fact there were machinist jobs just down the street that are offering more than $15/hr. Would she consider that? No, she loves her job.

I then asked her how many packs a week she smokes. She said 3-4. Average price of $6.44/pack, so let's call that $22.50. (Won't even consider the health costs to her, which ultimately comes out of me since I am pretty much just a payer to my healthcare). She currently makes $10/hour, so she is looking for an extra $150/week. I said, as a compromise, why don't you quick smoking and save yourself $20+ a week. Show me that you are going to make the effort to improve yourself, and then we can talk.

Told me to go fvck myself.

You think it' okay for a grown man with a weiner to be able to use the womens restroom or locker room at the gym because they have gender confusion? Curt is right on the money on this one!

No, I stated "on the surface", as I do believe the feds should be out of our backyards more than they are. I never said I am for discrimination. I am against a federally mandated group think philosophy that what's good for one, must be good for all. Of course, not EVERY law must be taken away from the feds, as we are an interstate commerce driven society so we have to interact across state lines. There is room for meeting in the middle, if both sides would try. Most won't, you included.

If NC falls apart due to their laws, well then their constituents will have to rethink their beliefs.

Hard to believe that we are spending so much time talking about so few people.

My question is how do you control this? If someone really ID's as Transgender (walks the talk) I have no issue. I wouldn't ever go to the bathroom alone if I was a woman, but nonetheless. My issue is what prevents a true pervert from throwing on a wig and an a pair of women's shoes and hanging out in public bathrooms. If someone has a problem with that scenario, they are accused of a hate crime.

THIS is what is driving me crazy. We are talking about less than 1% of society, yet it's all we hear and it's what is constantly shoved in my face being "a con".

The religious freaks making it such an issue are just as bad.

I'm not going to let my daughter get too far out of site, no matter who is hanging around.

I find that Liberals just lack the ability to comprehend the results of their handiwork, and are just either unwilling or unable to connect the dots.

                          Case in point.

Yesterday, Hillary Clinton ( preceded the day before by Chelsea ) spent 90 minutes in a YMCA in Hartford, an area that has had a record of deaths by guns. While on stage with the daughter of the slain Principal of Sandy Hook Elementary school, she went on and on about guns ,violence, and the powerful NRA lobby.

The area she was in is predominately poor, Black and Hispanic , and is economically depressed. The unemployment rate for youth is double digits, school truancy is a major problem, as well as discipline .The city has a huge deficit problem, as does the state. The topic should have been the measures that should be taken to address the needs of the people there, meaning opportunity and jobs. But that would have exposed what the Democrats have done to cities like Hartford, and states like CT, which are some of the highest taxed and most expensive places to live in the country.

The Democrats have had the shovels in their hands for 30 plus years, and they have been digging their graves.

On the issue of stricter gun laws, Hillary says she will do everything she can to prevent additional deaths . However of all the deaths by guns in Hartford , where she was sitting , most , if not all, were committed by criminals with stolen guns, unregistered guns, etc.
All of the shootings within the city were in areas similar to where she was sitting , and of the shootings of the entire region , mostly all of them did not occur in outside suburban areas, with hundreds of licensed gun owners as residents.

She did not explain how stricter gun laws and taking on the NRA will reduce the number of shootings by gangs, criminals, domestic situations and the like in the areas that are seeing the violence.

And yet there were 300 people there with their mouths wide open, like in a trance, watching her act . And they cheered her on . Maybe in an hour or so , when the high wears off and they look around, they will come to their senses that she isn't " fighting for us" , but fighting for herself . I doubt it.

The only things the feds do is make sure that there is equality. If you are not an as hole the feds don't have any impact on your life. On the other hand - try to get a variance in your hometown to build a shed 1 inch over the set back. If you don't slip your friendly building inspector a C note it ain't gonna happen. Town government impacts my life in a negative 100X more frequently than state or federal. I can't think of a single instance when the federal government has had a direct impact on any aspect of my life.

Yet black life expectancy is up and white is down. Go figure. Watch those numbers change as more middle aged women smoke and drink. Trying not to be fat and bored. Reality is as economic equality improves (and it is slowly) crime drops and a lot of problems are solved when the oppressed have a little hope. A nutter victory in the election will ruin this country.

That's the point...equality with such a diverse socio-economic reality shouldn't be the goal. Why is my president and candidates pushing a federally mandated minimum wage law, when we have vastly different costs of living?

I have tried, and was successful, in getting a variance to build our poolhouse that was over the line. Rather simple process, went before the board, explained the situation, and it was granted. Not really a big deal.

Would you rather federal property line laws be instituted then, in using your example? How will that work, when someone in a city has to keep the same setback laws as someone in a rural town?

You do pay taxes, I assume? How can you not say they have not had a direct impact? I mean...you just gave them 30% of your earnings, right? I'm not advocating eliminating them, but such a strange statement to make.
