I disagree with 99% of Bernie's policies, so I'm by no means defending him...but...while I agree with the premise of your post, Trump has run his entire campaign by yelling over other candidates. Not sure where I stand with him, since for the most part I haven't heard any substance.

Substance is a matter of interpretation. All the experts, talking heads and pundits have been wrong about Trump all along. They said he wouldn't last. Those pundits did not interpret correctly. Trump's supporters apparently see substance in Trump's remarks, as most of it has zeroed in on the failures of the current Administration that you alluded to.

Yes, correct. Because, once you take out the rhetoric on both sides, you get to look at the meat of the matter. Sometimes, once you get through everyone's rhetoric, there's nothing left. So, you vote on color. Oops, that was the last two elections.

I like some of his positions, but can't get through the hate to line up with the rest. I will probably have no choice and will vote for him, but looking forward to the National debates where some policies will be more clearly stated.
