Donald Trump is the least electable GOP candidate and that is how we Repubs like it. He most likely hasn't seen the inside of a church aside from weddings and funerals but he says loves Jesus and that is good enough for me. Why? Because I have no mind of my own but I will believe anything Fox News says and shows a candidate saying. They get all Jesused up and start pressing grace every time they cross into the Bible Belt and tell me what I want to hear. I live in Cowchip South Dakota and I wake up every day fearful that we will be overrun by Mexicuns and Islama-cysts. Or Obama-cysts. It is shocking how out of touch they are with mainstream thinking. 62% of Americans support gay marriage, 63% want tougher gun laws, the majority do not want Roe v Wade overturned, the majority are dissatisfied with corporate America, the #1 concern of Americans is the economy and only 9% think ISIS/terrorism are the main problem. Yet all you hear in Republican commercials and during debates is everything most Americans DON'T care about. Trump has the highest total and net negative since the current measuring system has been in place (1992) (source: Gallup.com 2/1/2016). Kasich is their best hope to regain the White House yet he is a pariah among evangelicals because he believes in compromise and reaching across the aisle. Out of touch are progressives, who think that social issues dominate Americans thinking. Well what to consider is that even with all the strides that Progressives have made since Obama took office, it HIS performance that is driving up the interest in Trump and Sanders. Obama is a failure, and everyone now realizes it. All except the handful of hangers on , following the old Dylan song " Hang On To A Dream "
Everyone now knows that Obama care is a huge failure. Every American has been impacted by higher premiums, higher deductibles ,lack of Doctor's and we are now even seeing drug rationing. You don't need any polls to realize it.Comment
