Your perception of coal is part of a closed mind. Gasoline used to be dumped after oil was refined. Look what happened. One of the most successful products ever made , in your Medicine cabinet, was discovered by accident at a oil drilling facility.
Renewables were subsidized about 80 billion last year.
Your old school argument if convenience has just been destroyed. It looks like fossil fuels need the subsidies more. Let's all not forget that the fossil industries externalize their production costs. Massey isn't forced to remediate acidity in freshwater caused by runoff from the coal mines made when tops of mountains are BLOWN off.
Try again ex lax. Remeber how this goes? You get more and more frustrated and reach for the convenient stuff and then you get egg in face. Why not just stop now?
We are waiting. Fossils recieved 6-7 X more subsidies last year than renewables so by your own logic fossils must be more economically unviable when standing on own feet without subsidy.
Not so hard.

You just got served again ex lax. It's like the old days. I just started laughing to myself and someone gave me that look ..."wow must be funny" look
So easy to hoist you always was.
dont venture into any occupations where a nimble mind is required. But you knew that already
I have several grown children. I have plenty of experience with Graduates getting jobs.
Retool K-12 ? That's hysterical. I'm sure the unions will be fine with all that.
I'm not whining at all. All I am doing is pointing out the near insanity of Progressives.
Who cares about Sarah Palin ?
If you are a teacher , it may depend upon where you are. There are many , many schools that have children disconnected from the process. Poor parental models. Poverty. Infatuation with Social media and related activities. Veteran Teachers tell me this all the time.
Not everyone is College material. That perhaps is the problem with some of your out of work PHDs. Applicable skills, and a vocation that can be mastered, at the pinnacle of achievement is most desired.
Where did you conjure up this myth about unemployed Phds. My wife has a doctorate as do many of her friends. They are all employed. The national u/e rate ranges between 1.7 and 3.5% and oddly enough is highest for the hard sciences. The average is little of 2.5%. I suspect this challenges your clumsy view of Phd's that is rooted in jealousy, ignorance, and hatred of people who have achieved more educationally than you.
I only have a Masters but I am not jealous of those with terminal degrees. I know how hard they are to get and admire their dedication.

Not to mention that the point of post went completely over your head. The 121 murders they committed were tragic but were they preventable? There are not even statistics about how many of those murdered were US citizens.
The number of illegals are estimated at 11M. Down 1M in 5 years. Some studies suggest that there is either a net decrease or at worst a wash.
As for rights you are wrong. They do have rights. Not the same as citizens but to imply they have NO rights is just more nutter nonsense.

Weird, we aren't jealous of those with advanced degrees and we admire their dedication.
Yet, there is nothing but jealousy if you turn that degree and hard work into becoming rich and monetarily successful.
Odd.

I've said a hundred times here every human life is of equivalent value to me....and it's very high.
You just have nothing to say and are hopping mad and just acting like your patron saints and claiming I don't care about such things....people have read what I've said here and know that's ridiculous.
I will tell you this. Once again you are sounding WEAK. You. BAiled on discussion things in merits because you rashly reached for low hanging fruit and it boomeranged in you again.
It's been a while so maybe you need to remeber the old days.....must be a heady feeling to have to realize you've just said mutually exclusive things in past five minutes.....I wouldn't know and not something I want to experience. must be frustrating.

Post 1219 responded to me and mentioned PHd's on Food Stamps. I was told the other day of a PHD holder who was working the tables at Red Robin.
I have nothing against anyone that has an Education, at any level. I applaud those with an education taking a job below their capabilities.

BTW if you knew anything factually you would know that legal vs illegal wasn't even a question u til the 20th century,
EVERYONE before then had neither legal or illegal status. True! look it up.
So know what? I think if you haven't been designated explicitly legal....you can't claim to be.
Ex lax did your ancestors come legally then? Mine didn't back in the 1880's. Surely you can't claim to say they were legal if they came during that time (perhaps yours came on mayflower)
But falling between cracks didn't make you legal so we have a lot of people in this country whose ancestors did not come here legally who know feel it's their America.

pS.....so NOW are you going to claim that the "Immigrants" who worked on Empire State in 1930 must have been LEGAL? After your reading of the legal/illegal take on immigration are you going to back down and feel a little less....certain?
Tee hee

You're ridiculous. Much the above are addressed by Laws of the Individual States.
No State can pass a law making illegal immigrants legal.
I can look up my relatives on the Ellis Island Website and see their names and when they arrived.
Regardless if it was a question or not in the past , it is an issue today. They don't belong here. They are here illegally. They need to be off of the responsibility of American citizens.

Agreed I have a phd
I have. It yet me a Phd who couldn't find some work. It's an issue that many of our most talented citizens are underemployed but this notion of PhDs not working at all is absurd.
The reason u employment is highest in the hard sciences is salaries and opportunities are lower for our citizens in stem because of the number of foreign workers and they are willing to accept lower compensation and it therefore depresses market a bit for our own.
