I'm not contradicting anything you have posted over the last several pages, because you absolutely have a point. I will just give you an example of what a small businessman has to deal with with all the government involvement in recent time. Over burdensome regulations that require time being spent understanding thousands of pages of regulations resulting in huge administration costs. Filing out pages and pages of paperwork that goes back to government proving we are following those regulations. It's taking valuable time from what we are hear to do. The same complaints are not only coming from business, but medicine and education too. The small businessman has to cut corners somewhere and unfortunately labor is where it often gets cut. Obamacare mandates have forced many businesses to hire 2 part timers rather than a full time employee with benefits. And btw until this past year, our employees did regularly see a pittance of increase in their pay while I saw none.

I agree with what you have written and coming from a small business background myself I have watched my parents deal with those issues and dealt with them myself when my siblings and I ran the business. My gripe is more with these fortune 100 companies that have more money than most countries and just gut and cut because they can and they also avoid taxes and such because they can afford tax attorneys where the little guy cannot. It is a sad state of affairs.

Simplify the tax code and think of all the accountants that will be out of work. Downsize government and you increase unemployment. We've backed ourselves into a corner.

It could be done gradually , and should actually apply more to current trends to serve the need that is different from the past. A small business can't afford a high priced Accounting firm, and they should not have to have one .

Downsizing government would just put the workers into a different marketplace for jobs, jobs that could be created from a relaxation of taxation , policies and regulations.

HOUSTON — A county grand jury here that was investigating allegations of misconduct against Planned Parenthood has instead indicted two anti-abortion activists who made videos of the organization.

In a statement, the Harris County district attorney, Devon Anderson, said Monday that the director of the Center for Medical Progress, David Daleiden, had been indicted on a felony charge of tampering with a governmental record and a misdemeanor count related to purchasing human organs.

Another center employee, Sandra Merritt, was indicted on a charge of tampering with a governmental record.

The Center for Medical Progress had covertly shot videos of Planned Parenthood officials discussing the provision of body parts from aborted fetuses for research. Mr. Daleiden, 26, had posed as a biotechnology representative to infiltrate Planned Parenthood affiliates and surreptitiously record his attempts to procure tissue for research.

The activists have claimed that Planned Parenthood has engaged in the illegal sale of body parts — a charge the organization has firmly denied.

Ms. Anderson said in the statement that grand jurors had cleared Planned Parenthood of any wrongdoing. She did not specify in the statement what record or records were allegedly tampered with.

“We were called upon to investigate allegations of criminal conduct by Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast,” Ms. Anderson said. “As I stated at the outset of this investigation, we must go where the evidence leads us. All the evidence uncovered in the course of this investigation was presented to the grand jury. I respect their decision on this difficult case.”

Thanks for posting. Been busy and didn't see. For once I feel justice is being served. After a few days when the furor initially broke, it was clear this was a frame up, but many corners including presidential candidates just kept on flacking it, inciting the "know nothing" chorus.

More importantly, people who attempt to make it harder for a woman to exercise choice by lies and deception need to spend some time in orange jump suits.
