So here is one matter for concern . Will he shut government down and harm America in order to sandbag the impeachment hearings?
Did you also see how the Dems wrote up the bill? trump got more rights than previous presidents facing impeachment but if they ignore subpoenas and obstruct those priveleges can be taken away.
Smart if Dems

Does that apply to Mike Pompeo too?
liberals = hypocrites
“There is all this breathless discussion about this [Trump] administration’s Ukraine policy,” he told The Post.
“This is the administration that actually provided defensive weapons systems [to Ukraine]. I could not tell you why the Obama administration chose not to [arm Ukraine]. Was it because of Hunter Biden? I don’t know!”
Where the “previous administration chose to provide blankets,” Pompeo noted, “we chose to push back against Vladimir Putin. We chose to protect the Ukrainian people, to do real work in [eastern Ukraine], to allow the Ukrainian people to provide for their own security.” Not least by supplying Javelin antitank missiles that the Obama administration withheld from Kiev to its last day in office.
It’s in that policy context, the secretary of state insisted, that President Trump’s phone call with his Ukrainian counterpart should be understood. “I focus on Ukraine policy,” Pompeo said. “I do that today. I’ve done that my entire time as secretary of state — including during that phone call.”
What Pompeo heard Trump say on the July call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was “deeply consistent” with the administration’s Ukraine policies — namely, to root out corruption, encourage other Western powers to step up in support of Kiev and ensure that the Javelins and other US military aid “got to the right place and were well-used.”
Even the most controversial bit of the call — Trump asking Zelensky to “do us a favor” — was “a matter of policy, yes,” Pompeo said. “I’ve probably had more direct contact with the president than any other person, so I had real clear sense of what the president had in mind. The corruption issues, I had a sense of this. What I heard him say on this phone call was what we put in our policy papers.”
Pompeo denounced what he saw as a ginned-up, secretive process set in motion by House Democrats. “I haven’t had access to this testimony,” he told me. “I have no idea what these individuals have actually said, and when they were asked questions about it, we can’t have State Department lawyers in the room. We’ve been denied that right. We’re unfortunately putting State Department officials at risk by sending them there without counsel from the agencies — this is unheard of, this is unprecedented.”

Impeachment occurs in the House. Look at it as equivalent to a grand jury say.
So IMPEACHMENT = INDICTMENT
So given the impeachment vote occurs in the house by a simple majority, your assertion that “he’s not going to get impeached “ is ash.
If impeachment happens then there will be a public trial in the senate (ratings for that will he HUGE! The BIGGEST!) followed by a vote where yes, 67 senators would have to vote to remove and they probably won’t .
Then working a couple months of that the Republican oarty can put him on ticket and we’ll see? But you ARR going to go the Republican convention with all his dirty laundry aired publicly at trial just before .
Good luck!
So I think it’s possible that

In major testimony today, Morrison noted multiple false assertions by Bill Taylor, said his conversations w/ NSC lawyers were because he was worried about illegal leaks of the July 25 call, and that he never thought anything illegal was discussed.

At the same time Democrats were voting for the fourth time to try and overturn the 2016 elections, a top NSC official told Congress that he never thought anything illegal was discussed in the July 25 call, but that he was worried about illegal leaks.

Tim Morrison's testimony destroys Schiff's narrative, which is why Schiff insists on all these interviews happening in secret.
That way he can lie about what witnesses say and prevent the truth from every seeing the light of day.

Doug Collins says he's ready to call Adam Schiff as a witness in a real impeachment hearing and make him answer every question about his involvement with the 'whistleblower.'
Do ya think Dems will approve his request?
