      But go ahead, try.
I just did. Can't you read?

The first was that his failure to show up and testify about Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report was a threat to the Constitution and an “attack on American democracy,” in the words of the committee’s chairman, Jerry Nadler—so much so that it justified the rare punishment of being held in contempt of Congress.

And not a single conservative source among them.

So we can either assume the lib media got it wrong AGAIN - Fake News. Or we might assume, someone went to the Dems and said after their threats, "You can't threaten Barr with contempt for not showing up. Try threatening him for not provided a full copy of the Mueller report." Sort of backpedaling on the contempt threat, just like you're doing. Even then they haven't much of a leg to stand on.

Ok, so you can’t provide a quote from Nadler or anyone else in a similar position.

I’ll post the contempt citation hear when it’s available.

Yesterday four people are presumed drowned when the boat they were in overturned as they crossed the rain swollen Rio Grand trying to enter the US illegally - a 10 month old boy, his 6-year-old brother, their mother and a 7 year old cousin.

Meanwhile Democrats are in the House eating fried chicken instead of doing the job they were elected to do.

            Who votes for these people???
How do the Democrats think they are going to win with the Schitt they are pulling? I just don't get it.

            - 75% of registered voters opposed allowing 17-year-olds to vote. 84% opposed allowing 16-year-olds to vote.

No refresher required. Just a repeat of what the Daily Beast, NBC News, New York Times, and Washington Post wrote. It's pretty obvious from how these reports were initially written that Dems were making false threats based on Barr's no show. And btw, it's interesting that the NYT has changed their headline all together now.

And Con just keeps reposting the same things over and over. None of which contains a quote from Nadler that he intends to hold Barr in contempt for failing to appear before the House Judiciary Committee.

Find a quote from Nadler where he says he intends to hold Barr in contempt for failing to appear. Should be easy, right?

In the past just using “I’m hearing...” as a source has always been plenty sufficient for the drivel on here.

                    Now we want signed affidavits.

10 days or so until Mueller testifies before the House. He seems to have no interest in testifying to the Senate.

Donnie has changed his mind and says Mueller should not be allowed to testify. Barr has previously said that he had no problem with Mueller testifying. Let’s see if Barr now switches to agreement with Trump. Lol

The House Judiciary Committee will vote Wednesday to hold Attorney General William Barr in contempt after he failed to comply with a subpoena to provide Congress with an unredacted version of special counsel Robert Mueller's report on Russian interference in the 2016 election and the underlying evidence, the panel announced Monday.

The committee's move is the first step toward holding Barr in contempt of Congress, escalating the battle between the White House and Congress over Democrats’ oversight requests and raising for the first time the prospect of an impeachment inquiry.

The panel had initially demanded that Barr turn over the unredacted report by May 1, and then made him a counteroffer after he let that deadline slip.

What to expect as Nadler moves to hold Barr in contempt of Congress
                          MAY 6, 201902:50

"Even in redacted form, the Special Counsel’s report offers disturbing evidence and analysis that President Trump engaged in obstruction of justice at the highest levels," the panel's chairman, Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., said in a statement Monday. "Congress must see the full report and underlying evidence to determine how to best move forward with oversight, legislation, and other constitutional responsibilities."

"The Attorney General’s failure to comply with our subpoena, after extensive accommodation efforts, leaves us no choice but to initiate contempt proceedings in order to enforce the subpoena and access the full, unredacted report,” Nadler continued.

If the committee signs off on the panel's contempt resolution, it then would go to a vote in the full House. The timing of that vote would be up to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

The ranking Republican on the panel, Georgia Rep. Doug Collins, said Barr could not comply with the subpoena because it contains grand jury information that he's not legally entitled to share.
