It is very unfashionable to be overtly racist. But it is fairly easy to decipher the "code words".
Political Correctness has had the unintended effect of driving racism underground. We all know plenty of people who will vent their racism to small groups of people with whom they have confidence that the racism will not be objected to. I giggled last night as Chris Rock called out Hollywood, who is 95% liberal, for being the hypocrites they are. Easy to complain about all the inequality in the world while sitting behind their gated walls pulling in $20m from a movie every few years.

Some people who oppose trade deals won't vote for trump once they discover he has used foreign labor to avoid hiring USA citizens

Some evangelicals won't vote for trump because of his foul mouth and NY lifestyle

No mention of how many were actually hired. We see the numbers of applicants for a Visa, but that doesn't mean they got the job. Some American applicants decided not to take the job, had criminal records , etc. Lots of speculation and conjecture, but very little real facts that could be confirmed. Otherwise, the practice is perfectly legal, no laws were broken, and any hires were not of Illegal immigrants. These are temporary positions with little to no benefits. Far different than higher paying jobs like at Disney.

As best they can, the leftist media will try and dig anything up that has even a whiff of something they could use. Regardless, in this case we are talking of a small amount of jobs. Perhaps the NY Times could explain the decline of Miami, one of the poorest cities in America, under Democratic rule for decade after decade.
