Donald Trump was a hand grenade thrown under Washington’s door and it appears Donald Trump was a hand grenade thrown under Brussels's door.

That's why he was voted in.

Though Ms. Ocasio-Cortez defeated Joseph Crowley, a leading House Democrat, in a congressional primary that sent shock waves through the party, Mr. Crowley’s name will almost certainly appear on the ballot in November under a third-party line. That’s thanks to a quirk in New York State’s election laws, an embarrassingly retrograde system that protects incumbents by confusing voters and suppressing turnout.

Given Mr. Crowley’s powerful role as the head of the Queens Democratic Party, Ms. Ocasio-Cortez sees political machinations afoot, and she accused the congressman on Twitter of mounting a third-party challenge against her."

No! Why would she ever think that???
The only thing better than having a communist elected is to have that seat stolen back by the incumbent via shenanigans. Love watching the left collapse.

As usual the libs only see what they want to see.

A new Pew Research survey asked Americans to provide a first and second choice to the question, “Which president has done the best job during your lifetime?” Overall, Barack Obama topped the list as the first choice of 31 percent of respondents. Obama's win was fueled, unsurprisingly, by the youngest generational cohort, millennials, who voted for him overwhelmingly (46 percent), followed by Bill Clinton (18 percent) and Donald Trump (12 percent).

Or in other words the poll is heavily influenced by millenials who vote for the president they really only know. Very interesting though that Trump came in third considering all the negative press he gets.

But lets continue to look deeper at the numbers.

Thirty-three percent of those in Generation X (ages 38 to 53) chose Ronald Reagan, with Obama coming in second at 27 percent and Clinton in third at 15 percent.

The baby boomer generation (ages 54-72) also put Reagan on top (27 percent) and Obama in second place (19 percent) but ranked John F. Kennedy in third at 16 percent.

Lastly, the “silent” generation (ages 73-90) ranked Reagan first (23 percent), Kennedy second (17 percent) and Obama third (11 percent). Trump finished in fourth place among this group with 8 percent, narrowly edging out Dwight D. Eisenhower and Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who each finished with 7 percent.

Here's another little polling tidbit: 47 percent of Americans approve of the president, only about 12 percent approve of Congress.

And another from Gallup: Satisfaction With U.S. Direction Reaches 12-Year High

Here's some more polling numbers that are interesting, especially with an upcoming election.

A new Morning Consult survey shows that a plurality of Democrats (43 percent) are behind the idea of dismantling the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, while 34 percent are opposed. Seventy-nine percent of Republicans want to keep ICE, as do 54 percent of Independents. Overall, just 25 percent of those surveyed want to “get rid” of ICE while 54 percent of voters want to keep it.

Sounds like a great strategy Dems are pursuing to get rid of ICE, don't you think?

Dems are playing with fire on the Kavanaugh nomination as well.

Americans want judges who interpret the law, not make new law, and in a Harvard Caps/Harris Poll last year, most believed that the judiciary is now acting more on its political beliefs than on the law. After all is said and done, a majority of the public supported the Neil Gorsuch nomination to the Supreme Court, even though only three red state Senate Democrats joined Senate Republicans to confirm him.

Do you think it will go something like this?

As he was leaning toward Medvedev in Seoul, Obama was overheard asking for time - “particularly with missile defense” - until he is in a better position politically to resolve such issues.

“I understand your message about space,” replied Medvedev, who will hand over the presidency to Putin in May.

“This is my last election ... After my election I have more flexibility,” Obama said, expressing confidence that he would win a second term.

“I will transmit this information to Vladimir,” said Medvedev, Putin’s protégé and long considered number two in Moscow’s power structure.

              Highly unlikely with Bolton around.

John Bolton, ambassador to the United Nations during the George W. Bush administration, called Obama’s comments a “fire bell in the night,” which signaled not only that Obama would scale back the missile defense program, but also that he might be planning to give ground on a range of national security priorities.

“There’s huge cause for concern here,” Bolton said.

Apparently you didn't listen to what Rosenstein said.

Still NO COLLUSION. NO AFFECT ON THE 2016 ELECTION.
