When was the last ballistic missile test? Last atomic test? Last time you heard Kim Jung Un threaten to launch a missiles towards the US? Last time he did something provocative, like torture a US hostage?

You have to acknowledge that when we have reached a point of reasoning that they are willing to repatriate the remains of our veterans, that we are in a safer place than we were a year ago.
Ultimately the goal is to rid them of all nukes, but to try to ignore the fact that progress is being made is disingenuous.

Just like Trump Con gives Trump credit for something he had nothing to do with. Kim stopped testing because he developed his program far enough to be credibly seen as a nuclear power.

Then Trump fell all over himself kissing Kim�s butt for a photo op for his lickspittle fans. Discontinuing joint exercises with S. Korea, suggesting that U.S. troops will be removed from S. Korea... Kim�s wet dream come true.

As for those remains...

Remains that North Korea has handed over in the past have not always been identifiable as U.S. troops, despite the dog tags North Korea handed over with them, according to a 1994 RAND Corporation research report.

Between 1990 and 1992, North Korea returned 46 sets of remains, according to the report.

�With no exception, every North Korean claim associated with human remains has shown to be false. For example, these 46 sets are actually fragments of more than 70 individuals,� the report said. Forensic analyses suggested none were American, the report said.

Don�t look now but NY Post has reported that all negative US propaganda has suddenly been discontinued in NK. Banners removed, news reports no longer spun to reflect poorly on US.
I wonder what happened?

Sanctions are still in place...they should be angry.

We can agree to disagree.

I think we are better off having dialogue with them than the continued Sabre rattling.

One of those missile tests goes off course and lands in Japan...then what?

I think that we need to at least give this approach a chance st working. All Trump gave them was some time to show how serious they are. Nobody is blind to the fact that they have circumvented past agreements. For now we wait and monitor their actions, but keep the pressure on them.
If no progress by next Spring then the War Games go on as scheduled and we strangle the regime into taking some action. Kim Jung Un holds the cards and Trump gave him a way to stay in the game. With a possible nuclear detonation at stake, let�s hope Kim decides that having a seat at the table is enough.
