The Australian diplomat whose tip in 2016 prompted the Russia-Trump investigation previously arranged one of the largest foreign donations to Bill and Hillary Clinton�s charitable efforts, documents show.

Former Australian Foreign Minister Alexander Downer�s role in securing $25 million in aid from his country to help the Clinton Foundation fight AIDS is chronicled in decade-old government memos archived on the Australian foreign ministry�s website.

Downer and former President Clinton jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding in February 2006 that spread out the grant money over four years for a project to provide screening and drug treatment to AIDS patients in Asia.

On Monday, CNN aired an embarrassing segment in which they traveled to Thailand to meet with an alleged prostitute who claims to be a "sex coach" and says she has evidence of the Trump campaign colluding with Russian officials in the 2016 presidential election.

CNN met with Anastasia Vashukevich, a self-described "seductress," who is seeking asylum in the United States in exchange for her story about her alleged "evidence" of Russian meddling in the U.S. election.

"She described herself as a seductress," CNN�s Ivan Watson reported. "This woman claims to have evidence of Russian meddling in the U.S. election. The question, is this a desperate ploy to get out of jail, or as her friend claims, is this young woman truly in danger because she knows too much?"

CNN hyped her credibility because she was photographed one-time with a Russian billionaire that was associated with Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort.

Last month CNN visited Russia so they could dig through trash dumpsters trying to prove Russian collusion and later doxed and harassed an elderly Trump supporter living in Florida who received vicious threats because of CNN's report.

But I�m a bleeding heart liberal . Clearly different from those in media who in actuality tend to be center right .

Nashville Mayor Megan Barry agreed to resign on Tuesday as part of a plea deal regarding a felony theft charge, about one month after admitting to an extramarital affair with her bodyguard.

Barry entered her guilty plea on Tuesday and was reportedly sentenced to three years' probation and a fine. The Tennessee politician had initially planned to stay in office following the revelation that she had an intimate relationship with Sgt. Robert Forrest, but an ethics review and special committee's probe into misuse of funds led the Democrat to cede her role.

Forrest also pleaded guilty to theft on Tuesday and was sentenced to three years of probation. He must reimburse the city of Nashville $45,000 for the pay he received when he wasn't acting in his role as a member of Barry's security detail.

^^^^ Nashville�s local issues are of little concern to me here in MA but I note that scandal is what we heard 50 yrs ago ....illicit hetero affair with another adult leading to malfeasance
