As we sort through the witch-hunt, it would be nice to understand what all the accusations are:

-Forcibly, either through physical act or professional intimidation?
      -Unwanted physical contact without consent?
-Commentary, humorous or otherwise, about another individual's physical appearance in a suggestive manner?
-General commentary about nobody in particular, but about a large subset of people
      -Propositioning another adult?

Some of these are jailable offenses. Not all.

The left's ability to defend Clinton is bottomless. Talk about no shame.
She herself said it was consensual, but when it comes to Clinton it goes far beyond just Lewinsky.

The plan also offers savings for individual taxpayers. True, it would scrap the state and local tax deduction. But the write-off has meant, in effect, refunds to wealthy folks for the high taxes they pay in states like New York. Progressives should love scrapping it, no?

And House leaders say there’s plenty of time to make further improvements and still get a bill to President Trump before Christmas. After all, the Senate has yet to pass its tax plan, and once it does, it has to reconcile it with the House version.

....Schumer claimed the Senate Republicans, in their bill, are “kicking 13 million people off health insurance” by ditching the ObamaCare mandate.

Earth to Chuck: Scrapping the requirement that people buy insurance doesn’t kick anyone off; it merely frees those who don’t see the insurance as worth the cost from having to buy it anyway.

JOE KERNAN, CNBC: I got a call yesterday from someone who lives in New York, a well-to-do guy. Be talked to his accountant, and his taxes are through the roof based on this because he is not able to write off [his local tax]. He's a Republican, he voted because of tax reform. He says he doesn't even care if his taxes go down, he thought at least they wouldn't go up. He says his accountant informs him it is going to be hundreds of thousands of dollars more based on this.
That would never happen in a Reagan[-style] tax cut. With the House plan, how do you answer that, that he is getting a huge tax increase from a Republican administration?

TREASURY SECRETARY STEVEN MNUCHIN: First of all, I am sensitive to this issue, having lived in New York and California, I have literally spoken to hundreds of business people in those states.

As we said, the objective of the plan is to simplify taxes and level the playing field. We are getting the federal government out of the business of subsidizing states. That is going to impact high-tax states.

Having said that, for someone who makes $100-300,000 in a high-tax state, they will get tax cuts, for people who make a million dollars or more, their taxes are going to go up on the personal side.

Having said that, they are going to get the benefit of pass-through reduction, which will be good for small businesses and entrepreneurs--

CNBC: That's well and good, Mr. Secretary, but you have to convince these people are going to be paying hundreds of thousands of dollars more that -- You can't tell the, businesses are going to be doing much better. That is like the greater good. I know, you've got to work within these constraints, but the Republican idea of tax reform, I don't think people knew these people were going to have huge tax increases. Is it punitive because they make too much money?

MNUCHIN: I don't think it is a question of the greater good at all, I think there are going to be lots of companies in New York that when their tax rates go from 35% to 20%, can increase wages. So you're talking about the elimination of state and local taxes will probably cost about 4% in New York. In the Senate version there is a 1% reduction. Do you're talking about potentially a 3% increase on people who make a million dollars or more.

People understand that that is funding lots of middle-income tax cuts, and understand that.

                  Awkward!

A group of CEOs on Tuesday appeared to cast doubt on one of the White House's biggest arguments for overhauling the tax code — right in front of the economic adviser Gary Cohn.

At a meeting of The Wall Street Journal's CEO Council, an interview with Cohn — the National Economic Council director who previously worked as an executive at Goldman Sachs — prompted discussion about the amount of investment the GOP tax bill, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, would generate.

Republicans and the Trump administration have argued that tax cuts for businesses would lead companies to investment more and raise wages for workers.

The moderator then asked those in attendance whether they were planning to increase their business investment if the tax bill became law. The CEOs in attendance did not seem to be on the same wavelength as Cohn.

While there was a smattering of raised hands in the auditorium, it was clearly not as many as Cohn would have liked.

"Why aren't the other hands up?" Cohn asked before moving on to another question.

What on earth are you talking about?

The question was about whether Trump had apologized for his "grab 'em by the pussy" comment.

                              He absolutely apologized!

In his video apology released early Saturday morning, Trump says he's never claimed to be a "perfect person."

“Anyone who knows me knows these words don’t reflect who I am," Trump said.

“I said it, I was wrong and I apologize."
