While Mr. Ledgett was still in office, he wrote a memo documenting a phone call that Mr. Rogers had with Mr. Trump, according to people familiar with the matter. During the call, the president questioned the veracity of the intelligence community’s judgment that Russia had interfered with the election and tried to persuade Mr. Rogers to say there was no evidence of collusion between his campaign and Russian officials, they said."
Questions Mueller might have of both Rogers and Ledgett: How would Ledgett be aware of what transpired in a telephone conversation between Trump and Rogers? Why didn't Rogers feel the need to document the conversation?
The WSJ also reports: "Peter Carr, a spokesman for Mr. Mueller, declined to comment." Even the New York Times is holding back stating "The F.B.I.’s gathering information about the possibility of a crime does not necessarily mean prosecutors are building a case against the president. In the early stages of investigations, F.B.I. agents typically want to gather all the facts."
I wouldn't put too much importance in the anonymous unnamed sources the Washington Post uses since their record of being wrong is much like TeeHeeMan's. Jeff Bezos is more concerned with the WaPo getting clicks then he is in the accuracy of their reporting.
Got to admit. That make the nutter "he said he said " about Comey superfluous.
Rogers might have secured a second witness.
I think they d been on to trump for a while.
Going down hard.
Better panic and post more verbage boris

I'm old enough to remember when a certain candidate said that his opponent would not be able to govern because she would be under constant investigation for years.

Oof!
Appearing before the Senate Intelligence Committee under oath this week, Attorney General Jeff Sessions was asked whether he had “any contacts with any representative, including any American lobbyist or agent of any Russian company” during the 2016 campaign. Sessions, one of Trump’s earliest supporters, answered: “I don’t believe so.”
On Thursday, an American lobbyist for several major Russian interests, including a state-run energy company and a private equity firm with the state-run Alfa bank, told the Guardian that Sessions in fact hosted him at two dinners during the presidential campaign. The dinners occurred around the time time that the American public learned of Russian efforts to influence the presidential election.
Perjury traps?
Much peril for trump and co.

Here is our favorite nutter / Russkie sounding oh so big on March 20, just three months ago.
Originally posted by Unregistered View PostNot sounding confident??? Who wouldn't be confident when the CIA Director, the Director of National Intelligence, House Intelligence Committee chairman, AND the FBI have all stated that there is no evidence of collusion between Trump campaign officials and Russia? Comey and Rogers testifying in front of the House Intelligence Committee will turn out to be a big nothingburger meant to appease Democrats.
How did he do?
Keep that in mind when evaluating what he has to say NOW if he ever returns

That doesn't change facts. You should reconsider your posture on this.
If in fact I did not drop dime (always a possibility) you should reflect on yourself
Hopefully, yer pal,

You wished that I die a slow and painful death .
You wished for me and my family to endure a home invasion by a criminal gang and gloried at smiling at notion of my wife being raped and my children terrorized
Yet I never responded in kind. You don't scare me . And if you ever threatened me personally I think I can make sure we stay safe.
I just keep calling out your HATE

I think the guy who is consistently wrong is the one having a bad day.
Here's another you blew today.
The Senate voted 97-2 on Wednesday to approve new sanctions on Russia. The measure was added to a bill that*primarily contained new sanctions*on Iran.
