      Hi Boris

As part of our ongoing investigation into Russian active measures during the 2016 campaign, today we approved subpoenas for several individuals for testimony, personal documents and business records. We hope and expect that anyone called to testify or provide documents will comply with that request, so that we may gain all the information within the scope of our investigation. We will continue to pursue this investigation wherever the facts may lead.

This is how you define traitor, TeeHeeMan.

JAMES WOOLSEY, FMR. CIA DIRECTOR (Clinton administration): I don't see anything untoward about having a back channel communications as long as you're doing it accurately and within the confines essentially of what your superiors have asked of you. People have back channel communications all the time. It's often done via intelligence services because they can often -- the head of DCI, for example, to travel without people knowing that he's traveling.

LEMON: So, Ambassador, why not disclose that then?

WOOLSEY: Well, there are a lot of things I think have been disclosed too much. And I think that is the real scandal here. That so much has been disclosed, it makes it hard for the secrecy that's essential to the operation of the U.S. government in these areas to continue. And I think the people who have broken these tacit and formal agreements and taken classified information and turned it loose are basically traitors to the country.

The Democrats don’t have a “white working-class problem.” They have a “working-class problem,” which progressives have been reluctant to address honestly or boldly. The fact is that Democrats have lost support with all working-class voters across the electorate, including the Rising American Electorate of minorities, unmarried women, and millennials. This decline contributed mightily to the Democrats’ losses in the states and Congress and to the election of Donald Trump.....Bernie Sanders’s “revolution” and attack on big money was much closer to hitting the mark than was Hillary Clinton’s message, and he won millennials and white working-class voters in the primary. It is not surprising that white working-class voters then went for Trump, and that some Sanders voters went for the Green Party in the general election, but the Democrats’ working-class problem go way beyond what Sanders broached. Working-class Americans pulled back from Democrats in this last period of Democratic governance because of President Obama’s insistence on heralding economic progress and the bailout of the irresponsible elites, while ordinary people’s incomes crashed and they continued to struggle financially. They also pulled back because of the Democrats’ seeming embrace of multinational trade agreements that have cost American jobs. The Democrats have moved from seeking to manage and champion the nation’s growing immigrant diversity to seeming to champion immigrant rights over American citizens’. Instinctively and not surprisingly, the Democrats embraced the liberal values of America’s dynamic and best-educated metropolitan areas, seeming not to respect the values or economic stress of older voters in small-town and rural America. Finally, the Democrats also missed the economic stress and social problems in the cities themselves and in working-class suburbs.....the bailout of the banks was, and remains, a searing event in American consciousness—and one inextricably linked to Democratic governance..... It was under President Obama that the government signed off on the executive bonuses for TARP recipients and under Obama that no executive was punished for criminal malfeasance. It should come as no surprise, then, that one year after the Housing and Economic Recovery Act’s passage, the majority of voters thought the big banks, not the middle class, were the main beneficiaries—and they were damn angry about it too. That mix of heralding “progress” while bailing out those responsible for the crisis and the real crash in incomes for working Americans was a fatal brew for Democrats.

"Democrat voters are nothing if not predictable. You can't fix Stupid."

"Quist had three years for which he didn’t pay his property taxes, and was taken to court by the state and private plaintiffs for unpaid debts spread across 16 years. He did pay his property taxes for all three years in 2016, at which point the earliest unpaid tax bill was nine years old.

The candidate is still under court order to pay a $10,301.69 debt stemming from a Wells Fargo line of credit that Quist and his wife, Bonni, quit making payments on in 2010. The debt now belongs to Security Credit Services LLC, which has successfully sued the Quists for payment.

Quist has more than once said his debts have been paid including last week, during a meeting with the Gazette Editorial board and Gianforte. The Gazette corrected Quist, noting that court records showed the Wells Fargo debt remained unpaid.

Quist reframed his remarks, saying he meant his property taxes were paid in full, not his debts.

The Gazette asked the Quist campaign Wednesday to provide evidence the Wells Fargo debt had been paid. Court records show the judgment against the Quists hasn’t been satisfied."

Democrats Should Fear the 2018 Midterms

Media echo chamber predicts GOP doom, papers over crisis of ideas in Democratic Party

"Democrats seem incapable of learning from elections. After losing the House, the Senate, the presidency, several governorships, and scores of state legislature seats over the past eight years, they continue to charge forward, propelled by the delusion that America’s heart beats for globalism, socialism, part-time jobs, and feckless foreign policy.

Meanwhile, once-influential media outlets have become nothing more than tabloid-style, anonymous-source-citing, Republican-attacking enablers, pushing clickbait headlines and irresponsibly spinning narratives that reinforce the delusion that Republicans and conservatives are a tiny fringe group of deplorable racists, xenophobes, and homophobes.

....(The media is) screaming, “Trump won by 20. Gianforte only won by 6. Montana is basically blue now. End of story.” The only problem is that when Trump won Montana by 20 points last November, guess who else was on the ballot that day. Greg Gianforte!

Gianforte ran for governor against Democrat incumbent Steve Bullock, and Gianforte lost by 4 points. That’s right! All those same voters who gave Trump a 20-point landslide on election day went right down the ballot and voted against Greg Gianforte. Gianforte lost by 4 last November but won by 6 points in the special election, so — by the logic underlying the media’s pretend political science — Montana voters are now much more Republican than they were seven months ago!

The media like to portray middle-American voters as a giant mass of idiots who can’t understand anything more complicated than “which political party do you like?” They want to create the illusion of Sesame Street elections brought to you by the letter “R” and the letter “D.” But, in actuality, voters are smart enough to differentiate between President Trump and other Republicans. The only thing this special election proves is that it is impossible to quantify feelings about President Trump using Gianforte votes as a unit of measurement.

The media hype over Georgia’s special election, Kansas’ special election, and now Montana’s special election is a misdirection designed to hide the fact that it’s not Republicans who should be anxiously chewing their cuticles as 2018 approaches, it’s the Democrats!"
