Trump to name U.S. high court pick on Tuesday as Democrats plan fight

    http://www.reuters.com/article/us-us...-idUSKBN15F1OW

So the Dems don't even know who will be named but they are already planning their fight.

I think we should vote on what the Dems will call whomever it is Trump chooses.

    A. Racist
    B. Sexist
    C. Xenophobe
    D. Homophobe
    E. Islamaphobe
    F. All of the above

I have to say the best part about Trump getting elected so far is the extent of the Liberal hysterics and total melt down. What a scene to watch. Makes me giddy.

I am truly and independent voter. Didn't vote for Trump, but could never vote for HRC. Here is my humble observation of what is going on these days:

The Democratic party is failing to realize that the "working class" voter controls social issues. What I mean is that Liberals are so focused on the social agenda of their party, that they are forgetting that if they fail to be a party of the working class, they fail to get the Presidency, they fail to control social issues. The average person who makes $58K in (pick your own swing state) is mostly focused on how they can make their lives better and get a pay increase. Remember there was no real wage increase in the past 8+ years. That is not to say that they don't care about (pick your liberal social issue), but it is just not at the forefront of their thinking. I almost drove off the road this weekend when I heard a James P. Hoffa (teamsters union president) praise Trump and what he is doing to bring back jobs to America. That is extremely dangerous to the Democratic party in the future. If Trump can become the party of the working class, those swing states will be an easy victory next election. Do this exercise - Go watch CNN with a blank piece of paper and do the following - Make one column and put Starbucks at the top and make another column and put Dunkins at the top. Ever time a new person comes on the program put a check mark next to the place you think they would most likely get their coffee. Not too long ago that paper would have been mostly filled with DD check marks - Not today. My point is that the Democratic party got hijacked by social issues and forgot that was a byproduct of hard working Americans.

To the Republican Party - Trump is an idiot in front of a camera. I believe is more effective behind the scenes, but he acts like he is still running fro President. If he could curtail that ego and focus on the working class, as he is doing, it will resonate and he will forever change the Republican party.

A total change of the American political atmosphere.

When was the last time a Progressive stood up for an American ? Like Vets ? Lip service.

I saw the Hoffa interview too. My thoughts are similar. I also saw this AARP commercial yesterday on MSNBC of all places that made me go "Whoa, the Democrats are really in trouble." I don't know they recognize that they are either. Or maybe they do, but they are under such pressure from the crazy protesters (thanks George Soros) they don't know which way to turn.

AARP believes Medicare is a promise that must be kept— and President Donald Trump agrees.* Now, we need to make sure our elected leaders in Congress hear that message.

I haven't heard a message from the Dems since early November that wasn't an attack on the right. They no longer have a vision, so they are spending their time trying to destroy Trump. Trump is an easy target, but his ego won't let him change so it's a fruitless exercise.

It is all about swing states, not California or Texas. Trump will get reelected with ease as long as the Liberal keep focusing on social issues. Get back to the working class and unions. Lose them and you are cooked.

Okay, but even CNN gave Trump props for his performance last evening announcing the SOTUS candidate.

He just met with the CEO of the major drug companies. See a pattern here ? When was the last time a Politician met with all these groups without taking money from them ?

Small stuff you don't hear too much about also. How he invited one of his supporters, a Fed Ex employee , a single father , who worked hard campaigning for him. He gave him $ 10,000 , which will be used for Chemo treatment for the guy's father.

He is going to lower drug prices, or try because it makes sense. It also helps him with Florida next election. The Republican party is now the party of the Teamsters and Hoffa. Go look up his statements this weekend.

And FYI - The pharma companies will gladly give up some margin for a stream line FDA process.

Good. Anything to streamline any government process should be encouraged.

In a just world it would only be the children and grandchildren of those who feel this way deformed by the next "thalidomide". That's what led to the current regulatory structure. But all suffer when the ignorant join forces with those who wish us harm.

What does the resident Russian stooge care if more American babies are born deformed. Be more like kid country then. Chernobyl and all.

Ijeoma Oluo, editor at large of feminist website The Establishment, said the reason no one was arrested was that the marchers were primarily white women.

“To brag that no one was arrested at a march that was filled with white women, as if that is an accomplishment that you really had a huge part of, what it does is it says that marches that were branded as ‘disruptive’ are less than,” Ms. Oluo said Tuesday on WBUR’s “Here & Now.”

                            ////

Echoing a sign that read, “I’ll see you nice white ladies at the next #BlackLivesMatter march, right?” Ms. Oluo wondered where the legions of women’s rights marchers had been during Black Lives Matter protests after police shootings.

“I think that [there are] a lot of women who had come out before, but I also know that I didn’t see a lot of these people at any Black Lives Matter marches,” she said. “I’ve been there. I’ve been looking around.

“And then to see them so excited — buying plane tickets, knitting hats, doing all of these things, getting ready to get out and march in the street, and you’re wondering, ‘Where was that need to get out and say something when we were being shot?’” she said.
