I guess each team needs to figure out what works best. Wilmington NC. Wakemed Park to Wilmington is like an hour 1/2 car ride. Boston to Westpoint NY is about 8+ hrs. Completely different.

The upper class are AF’s recruits and tend to play her style. If the new coach wants to get them playing his way, he needs to have his recruits predominately on the field. A few AF’s could crossover, but not many.

I think it is classy when teams don't post scores about exhibition games.

Just saw a post from a school that my kid follows for possible attendance. Team last season was in toilet. They are bragging about a big exhibition game win. Reminds me of Stanford running up score on a third tier school, bragging about it, and then this year; not making ncaa's at all.

Or USWNT over exhibition games in US and then playing teams for real.

Exhibition games are where you try new things.
