Granted some teams are working in new players and missing girls to vacations, injuries, etc but this is so much better than playing lopsided games as has become the norm at so many local tourneys.
I agree 100%, those 4 teams played well all weekend. It really pleads the case for SSS and NEFC's inclusion in the ECNL. It also proves that not all the 08 deprh migrated away from those teams.

Are you smoking crack? The ECNL doesn’t even know or care that this tournament occurred.

NEFC has kept their entire team together for 6 years. Impressive. Clearly were the class of this past weekend's showcase and probably are the best GU-15 team in the northeast. Select relies on 1 girl for literally all their goals and when she is hurt they are just very meh. They do not have enough offense. Fortunately they have a good defense and very good goalie who keeps the scores low until they can get their scorer free to score. Can't really speak too much on Scorpions or SUSA. Doubt ever FC Stars would take 2 more Mass. teams for ECNL so if it's one it is definitely going to be NEFC.

Hope you had two tissues on hand by the end of that. When was the last time NEFC played Blue or Aztec or Surf?

ECNL is taking ZERO more teams for New England.

Agreed 100%, if ECNL expands its most definitely wont be by adding NEFC or SSS. Not because of quality but because of location. Even though NEFC and SSS would make that move to ECNL they are fine where they are. NEFC has all their teams in the champions league and has sidelines filled with college coaches at their showcases, two kids making YNT’s and commits going to some good schools. I suspect they are concentrating on getting better in their own league vs. wringing their hands while trying to move. I’d be more wary of how Stars and Scorps hasn’t dominated the landscape with their ECNL advantage. Coaches not as good? Location? Cost? The clubs shouldn’t be so close in talent accumulation.

Star Blue does dominate overall. The others do not. NEFC is clearly ahead of the others as 2nd best overall club in MA.

And whether that's true or not doesn't matter in some important ways. For any given parent or player, there may be a much better choice than those two (given the specific team, coach, location, playing time or position opportunity, and many other aspects).

Dominate how? Looking at 06 recruits they absolutely don’t dominate in that regard. YNT callups..nope. head to head over age groups…. maybe, I have no idea and I’m not going to look because 1-2 games don’t tell a story. I’d say in New England things are pretty close and given the ECNL badge they shouldn’t be.

Do your homework, it’s all public.. See 2024 recruiting class for Stars vs. others. NEFC 2nd but others far far behind. Stars a clear dominant 1

Wrong. Stars is not “dominate” actually they are losing the commit race. They have six 06 commits, they have TWO teams. Oh.. and one of the six has not played a minute for Stars this year or any other, she just moved over from Oakwood. NEFC has 4 D1 commits, hardly being dominated. I couldn’t find anything regarding 06 commitments from SSS or Scopions.

All of the early commits would be from Blue. So 150% more than NEFC at this point. Dominant.

Stop with 06 it is 2024s!! 75% of 2006 Blue is 2025.. It’s not close.. Why do you think Oakwood player joined Stars? Connect the dots..

well in 2 years how will spin Blue 08's when literally their best 5 players are actually 09's and won't be committed! #pathetic
If Blue is SO dominant why so many 09's on the 08 team? Without those 5 players Blue wouldn't even beat NEFC, Scorpions or even Select.
