NEFC and Stars are percentage points apart in in recruiting and commits, spin it any way you want. Two teams 10 commits, 1 team 4 commits… pretty close. Oh it’s you again. So, there won’t be much spin needed since commits are based on class not year. 07’s and 08’s will form class of 2026, and they’ll be fine. These NEFC posters either refuse to do the research or won’t admit it.. Check back on just last 3 recruiting cycles.. 2021,2022 and 2023.. Happening again with 2024 and will play out same way for 25,26,27.. If you are on Stars Blue national your chances of D1 with scholarship money increases dramatically.. The 09s playing 08s won’t be there forever, nor do they want to be. Play with age that will give them best opportunity to be seen in recruiting year, the work now sets them up for that..Comment

Im not sure the 2021,22, and 23 classes are great representations. Covid happened in this time period AND DA disappeared and GA took over. It took a few years of club movement and the unknown of GA viability to settle out. I look at 2024 class because its the most representative of what things will look like going forward. GA is on solid ground, ECNL is the top league nationally, coaches go to both events. Locally the gap in talent between leagues isn’t the same as nationally, only 20-25% of teams in the GA could compete with the best of ECNL. Locally NEFC (somehow)seems to be keeping pace with Stars and a step ahead of Scorps. SSS is somewhere behind thoseOriginally posted by Guest View PostComment
