What if everyone just called their credit card companies and did a chargeback for spring payments made to their clubs? If no services were rendered the card companies will stand by the consumer always. The onus will be on the clubs to challenge the chargebacks and prove that they rendered the services sold. If the clubs faced hundreds or thousands of these at once, they wouldn't be able to challenge them.

Of course, you'd need to be looking for a new Club come Fall so while you are doing that, be looking for a Club who won't be filing for bankruptcy if they all have to return their spring fees.

Or, the Club pays the fees back to the credit card company if they are able, and deal with other creditors instead.

While we're here, I have some Florida RE up for sale. I can also promise an ECNL roster spot as a bonus. Any takers?

I was saying it’s just unfortunate that there won’t be any refunds but for kids going into senior year the parents just deal with the no refund and move on - certainly not going to make a fuss because we got what we came for - the D1 scholarship.

Poster made it very clear he was doing it with total awareness, and from his point of view, services were rendered - she has a D1 Commitment. Maybe that's the disconnect. You don't understand what product ECNL is selling.
