I'd bet a vast majority have already got it, didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, and moved along from it. Rate is likely much lower than 3/4%, but can never be proven.
And, no, I am not saying we should be doing what are asked of us and should've been doing it earlier. It is to be taken seriously, if for no other reason the ease at which it can spread and with no way to vaccinate against it and no cure. There's way, way too many reports of people saying "just felt like a little cold" to make me think thousands just ignored it.

I don't know about you all, but my parents are stressed out. They're pretty healthy for their 75 years or so and still very active, but both have common age related medical conditions that put them at higher risk. They normally winter in FL but didn't this year because one needed a minor operation. I'm so glad they're here right now, for many reasons

Right, so the mortality is conceivable much lower than reported.

With so little testing here we don't have our own data which is badly needed to track the case spread and geography. Without widespread testing we also won't have a good picture of how much cases are really declining when it starts to happen.

Stop comparing everything to the flu. Deal with THIS disease.
