Consistent with previous years, ECNL Alums have again overwhelmingly dominated the 2019 individual conference honors in the “Power 5” conferences – the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), Big Ten Conference, Big 12 Conference, Southeastern Conference (SEC), and the Pac-12 Conference. In total, there are over 1,100 ECNL Alums playing in these five conferences, accounting for more than 62% of all rostered players in the Power 5.

Why would anyone care about what league produce the most D 1 players? Its so irrelevant. Surely we care about what club, coach and support group gives our kids the best chance of being better people and players?
This desire to appeal to the lowest common denominator is a joke. There are quality players from all the leagues. Celebrate them, not the leagues

If your kid is uLittle the above makes sense, but I got news for you, by Freshman year THE focus of top tier club soccer is college recruiting. We may SAY platitudes like character development, discipline, better player, better person, but let's acknowledge there are lots of ways to accomplish all of those things. Club soccer is for college

Question to the NEFC, SSS people. If GDA folded and your clubs top teams were in NPL, are you sticking it out or trying to get on an ECNL roster?

If the ECNL decides to add a 6th New England team I assumed it would be NEFC if it were based upon which club is the strongest, but Oakwood could get the nod. I can’t see SSS or Seacoast getting in before either of those two.
U14- 1. NEFC
2. Oakwood
5. SSS
U15- 1. Oakwood
3. SSS
4. NEFC
U16- 1. Oakwood
2. NEFC
3. SSS
U17- 1. NEFC
4. Oakwood
SSS (no team)
U18/19- 1. Oakwood
2. NEFC
SSS (no team)
