Not sure how on earth this can be proven. If you say “fact,” kindly reveal the source.

Consistent with previous years, ECNL Alums have again overwhelmingly dominated the 2019 individual conference honors in the “Power 5” conferences – the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), Big Ten Conference, Big 12 Conference, Southeastern Conference (SEC), and the Pac-12 Conference. In total, there are over 1,100 ECNL Alums playing in these five conferences, accounting for more than 62% of all rostered players in the Power 5.

Impressive stats no doubt. I read that in the ECNL’s version of the National Enquirer too aka Soccer Wire. There are over 1,500 women’s college soccer programs. You don’t even have 15% of them on your copy and pasted quote. Keep working.

Why would anyone care about what league produce the most D 1 players? Its so irrelevant. Surely we care about what club, coach and support group gives our kids the best chance of being better people and players?

This desire to appeal to the lowest common denominator is a joke. There are quality players from all the leagues. Celebrate them, not the leagues

            Are you lost?
If your kid is uLittle the above makes sense, but I got news for you, by Freshman year THE focus of top tier club soccer is college recruiting. We may SAY platitudes like character development, discipline, better player, better person, but let's acknowledge there are lots of ways to accomplish all of those things. Club soccer is for college

Question to the NEFC, SSS people. If GDA folded and your clubs top teams were in NPL, are you sticking it out or trying to get on an ECNL roster?
DA Parent.. Moving to Stars, no question. Sucks all the Stars kids would lose their roster spot.

Well.. DA has only been around a couple of years so this makes sense. Wonder what it will look like in 5-6 years...If DA is around that long

Different DA parent, not sure what we would do. ECNL would be out. Already turned down Stars once as there is no way to get there. Likely have to go back to NPL and supplement training privately to cover it.

That was part of my original rationale for my long-winded plan. Soccer as a whole suffers with our current setup. Fixing the logistics makes the leagues better, makes the teams better, and the product better. Conversely, that means there are kids currently on teams that would not be later on.

So, for some, careful what you wish for...

If the ECNL decides to add a 6th New England team I assumed it would be NEFC if it were based upon which club is the strongest, but Oakwood could get the nod. I can’t see SSS or Seacoast getting in before either of those two.

                      U14- 1. NEFC
                      2. Oakwood
                      5. SSS

                      U15- 1. Oakwood
                      3. SSS
                      4. NEFC

                      U16- 1. Oakwood
                      2. NEFC
                      3. SSS

                      U17- 1. NEFC
                      4. Oakwood
                      SSS (no team)

                      U18/19- 1. Oakwood
                      2. NEFC
                      SSS (no team)

Would love to see a 12 team NE ECNL conference that stretches from MA to NJ and the MD & PA teams in the mid Atlantic.

Paired with travel partners for scheduling purposes:

                        North:
                        Scorpions-NEFC
                        Stars Blue- Stars White
                        FSA-CFC

                        South:
                        Match Fit-World Class
                        East Meadow-SUSA
                        PDA Blue-PDA White

Hopefully you work for the ECNL.

I missed the discussion about why DA clubs want in to ECNL.
