Must be why NE teams get beaten, often very badly, when playing outside the region. It's all that development going on.

Of course results matter; why else would there be a guy in a yellow shirt keeping time and writing things down whenever there is something to record?

But, let me ask you what would you rather have:

      * Team learning to play possession and turning the ball over 3-4 times during a game, two of which end up in the back of the net in a 3-1 loss

      * Team who admittedly plays "where we have a couple of big back who just launch the ball to speedy forwards. They can finish well. Our midfielders seem to just watch the actions most games. Not always pretty, but seems to work."

        What is happening is probably a good 2/3rds of #2, 1/3rd #1.

NE teams overall did pretty well in the Jefferson Cup against solid ECNL competition, so not sure what you're talking about.

Sorry forgot the obsession on bashing GDA. You people really need lives.

Why? Because "keeping up" with girls soccer developments is some kind of accomplishment? If you are on top of it, don't admit it.

No question - the Latter. Every time. Right up through an NCAA Final Four appearance.
You beautiful game parents make me chuckle.

That's fine if you are a finisher. Doesn't help any of the other players watching Cindy run around, but results do matter.

I hope you aren't one on here constantly complaining about how shltty the NT's are....

well, they are. DA isn't going to fix that.

Not saying anyone will. But, you can't learn to be play better if you 1/3 of the kids are just launching the ball, 1/3 are running after it, and the other 1/3 just stand there.

I have no idea how prevalent it is; only that one ECNL parent told me that's how they play.

Definitely not me complaining about NT outcomes. US is all about college. Actual WNT get's pipeline from college, and age-group NTs only matter for college recruiting.

As for helping the other players, they sure look happy posing for those Championship photos - even if it's not as happy as their parents posting them.

So, clubs provide players for college, and WNT gets it's pipeline from college, that means what clubs are turning out has a reflection on NTs, no?

Yep on those Championship photos. They all can claim to be winnahs, and some haven't even broke a sweat.

Very serious question. Will the infamous 2 players be giving up HS ball now that sss has sold their soles to US Soccer for them? If not, they can not expect any other player to do the same

Players attending private schools get waivers to play high school.
