Threads like this really just champion those who have the means to throw a whole lot of money at engineering what the parent sees as their kid’s rightful due instead of letting it happen organically. With the sort that start and actively feed threads like this it’s all about top shelf brands instead of quality.

There are actually more foreign born kids drafted in the top 2 rounds that US born. That speaks more about the quality of what is being developed in this country than anything else. Is interesting though when a kid from CT goes in the top 5 and you have a kid from ME and a kid from MA go in the top 2 “money” rounds that the information doesn’t even draw a raised eyebrow.
