He’s taking over the sky blue team. This isn’t likely. If it is, I’m here for the fallout! TS has been boring lately.

Well RG is taking over the 2007 sky blue team and likely the 09…question is the 2010 and 2001 getting it. Kinda bizarre but yet this will make TS interesting.

I’m not with the club but it’s legit. RG is going to Stars. He isn’t perfect but no coach is. He is mostly well liked by the players and parents and the 07s will either follow him or jump to Lancaster. Aztec/3step had better offer the younger teams some sort of incentive to stay or they are going to have major issues. They should merge with their seacoast brand or merge the two Aztec locations. I know it’s bad but I despise the greed that has infested youth sports so I enjoy the chaos.

The 07s are probably going to have a hard time jumping to Lancaster at this point and the kids are so close to the finish line anyway. I agree they seem to like RG and have followed him for years. No one else has to like him, his customers seem happy enough (I know TS hates when people are happy with their team). I think it’s likely they’ll go but I suppose it remains to be seen if he takes them all or not.

If RG went last season before the Sky Blue teams were established, those a) would have been better teams and b) would have eliminated the drama of now cutting girls who have played for a year to replace them with Aztec girls but here we are. TS needs something to talk about. We can only engage in Blue vs the World for so long. Sometimes you want filet, sometimes you just need a burger.

Probably too risky/too late for 2007. The 2009s probably will.

If he keeps his team intact the 2007 ECRL2 will be a better team than ECRL Blue and on par with White. Not a fan of ECRL2 but that is a good move for Stars to strengthen the product at the RL level.

Gonna be some shocked parents for sure. Here's how the script goes:

1) Coach is moving, tells the team they can come with him
2) Coach is part of tryouts for new team, realizes there are some good players there
3) Coach now has to bring a few over, and plays coy with the rest
4) Several players go to new team, rest run to TS and start posts "when will we hear about tryouts?"
5) Parents then start a campaign against the families who are leaving, starting rumors and telling people those leaving won't be missed
6) Parents realize their grand plan of having college paid for is now gone
7) Undeterred, they will still think the team left behind is "the baddest team in the land".

The whole club is a sh** show.

They have more injuries than just the keeper. The match with blue was close as always and they played well against WC. The stars white and CFC games were poor performances against teams that they beat and tied previously.

Yeah we do not want your Tyngsboro location involved in it but still it’s a great league! Then that fell through

Great news we are starting the girls version of the national academy league! Great competition and not much travel! Yeah you aren’t invited to that either.

What if we take the top division of the necsl and rename it and allow you to play in that!!

They were never in the same league as Aztec north shore ever this was a false expectation I get why 2007 will follow not a lot of choices but 2009 should abandon ship if they can find a better one in Lancaster or seacoast or NEFC.
