Not really familiar with Aztec, other than their reputation as brilliantly forward thinking, blood-thirsty marauders who terrorized other cultures. That being said, are there players who go TO Aztecs from other clubs?

The Aztec girls will follow their coach. They don’t have a lot of options. Their Aztec team will be gone and there aren’t a lot of 2007 options. If he goes to ECRL2, as you still ignorantly call it, then they’ll go too. It is what it is. Not a lot of options left. They’ll finish up senior/junior year, a couple will go on to play college soccer at D3, and the rest will hopefully have some good memories and a love for the game. Not the worst outcome, despite what TS anonymous posters spew.
1) Wants to move
2) Is good enough to make the new team

Gonna be some shocked parents for sure. Here's how the script goes:
1) Coach is moving, tells the team they can come with him
2) Coach is part of tryouts for new team, realizes there are some good players there
3) Coach now has to bring a few over, and plays coy with the rest
4) Several players go to new team, rest run to TS and start posts "when will we hear about tryouts?"
5) Parents then start a campaign against the families who are leaving, starting rumors and telling people those leaving won't be missed
6) Parents realize their grand plan of having college paid for is now gone
7) Undeterred, they will still think the team left behind is "the baddest team in the land".

What is the latest with the Aztec mothership in Danvers? Is it business as usual or are they about to implode like the north region(assuming the rumor is true)?

Aztec/3step had better offer the younger teams some sort of incentive to stay or they are going to have major issues. They should merge with their seacoast brand or merge the two Aztec locations. I know it’s bad but I despise the greed that has infested youth sports so I enjoy the chaos.
