My daughter just sign with an AAC Fully scholarship, Rhode Island club (not surf). Many pathways outthere, if you work hard and network.. all can be good, you need to dial the phone ( per se) hard.

Was this a typo meant to be ACC, or was it intentionally AAC (Appalachian Athletic Conference)? Big difference between the two.

Of course there are many pathways. Nobody has to play ECNL to commit to play college soccer.

Um they kind of have to- honestly. Maybe a few-very few top of the top players can come out of GA but only the top few- other than that its all pretty much all ECNL. Don't take my word just look at the stats.

Wrong. Maybe that’s true of P5 conferences but NOT of college soccer players at all levels and conferences and divisions. I’m sure that’s what ECNL wants you to believe but it isn’t true. There is more than a “very few” college players who didn’t play ECNL, especially the further away you get from P5 D1. OP didn’t say anything about the level, only that if a player wants to play in COLLEGE, whatever level, ECNL isn’t necessary and that is 100% true.

Um, do the math. Thousands of spots need to be filled across all levels of college soccer and ECNL can't fill them all. What levels GA players land may (generally) be lower but many can find spots if they target well.

Great, but she didn't get a full athletic ride. It's important to clarify almost no one get a full athletic scholarship but 100% can be reached combining with merit $ and financial aid (if the student athlete is desired by the school and the family qualifies for FA).

Otherwise of course ECNL isn't necessary as long as you target well. If you're not ECNL most times you will have to target lower. But there's plenty of opportunities to play at solid schools without the patch
