The Scorpions 07 tryout was very well attended last night. Well over 80 girls were there and lots of different backpacks hanging up. I'm sure Nick and Evan were very happy!

Honestly, how many were GA/ECNL, how many were DPL/ECRL, and how many were regional?
From a money perspective, doesn't matter at all and club ownership is certainly happy.
From a coaching perspective, it matters.

My guess is that alot of Liverpool and Juve girls were there. Maybe Bolts and Surf RI too.

The blue team is still underperforming with GB as the coach.

Who knows the motivations of 15/16 year old girls? But Blue showed up on Sunday and soundly beat CFC, their direct competitor for a year-end champions league spot. Game wasn't close. As a team, they are playing really well and we'll see how far that takes them.

That pretty ballsy for scorpions management to hold open tryouts for a u17 team and more impressive to get 80 kids to show up.

“80 kids” is the girls already in the club, plus kids from Juventus & Bruno, who are now under the Scorpions flag. Good showing for sure, but how many of those were randoms showing up? 10-15?

I watched the game Saturday vs WC. Stars Blue played a very good game, and the match up was very tight between two excellent teams. One bounce of the ball and the result could be different. They are a solid team, capable of competing against anyone. This does not mean that other teams in the area are not capable, too.

And now he’s handed GB the 08’s and kicked KM to the curb. Wonder which teams GB will drop next year (he’s got at least 4 blue teams now), spread a little thin for the rest of the year.
