Nope. Im saying that if Stars (white) and Scorps are so good they should move to a GA club to get noticed. Nobody is going to showcase games for the mid to lower level of ECNL. Say what you want, but coaches are showing up for GA champions league.

I wouldn’t speak in absolutes. WC is more likely to get more looks from the higher level schools. Of course coaches will attend other games but the bulk of eyeballs will start from the top of league down. If you were shopping with an unlimited budget you don’t start at the bottom and work up. It’s constructive to mention that any player that wants to play in college can, where they play will be determined by skill, recruiting effort, and some luck.

28 points is going to get a New England ECNL team into the national playoffs this year. FSA, EMSC and White will get a team to 18. The last 10 points are going to be tough.

Nonsense. Plenty if not most kids get recruited, it's just a matter of what level. Even freaking FSA and low level White sends kids to programs. Of course they don't go to Duke or Stanford, but lower level programs are all looking for players too.

Corrected. I should have said very few p5 program is going to lower level showcases games. Every kid that wants to play next level will, what level is the question.

and that's where players/families get into trouble. They're not honest about the appropriate level. The better you target the better your odds of success. If your club has a clue about recruiting, listen to what they say about appropriate targets. Put in the time to study rosters and schools of interest, see who plays the most and where they came from.

Every league has good, average and bad teams. Good for Aztec but let’s see them beat SUSA, World Class or CFC, never mind the local teams like NEFC, Blue, Scorpions or Select, before we put a crown on their heads.
