When has blue ever won a national title in ECNL ?

They have won plenty of US Club National titles with their second and third teams, which is literally the same thing as NEFC winning a GAL National title LOL.

Blue has been to the ECNL National Championship game 5 times, but no they have not won it, but again, it is different. You know that though...

Make another excuse why they lose. Y-ou lose because better teams beat you.

lol you gotta love the GA parents trying to compare GA Nationals to ECNL Nationals. It's like comparing MLS to the Premier League. It's 1 thing to be in the the title game of ECNL. You earned it! It's just fine to make the title game in GA. Who is in GA???? I think I've seen a list of like 6 decent to above average clubs-including NEFC.

Most of you have absolutely zero clue, if college is the end game. College coaches don’t recruit teams. They recruit players. No one cares one little bit which color ECNL team your kid was on or if they played GAL instead of ECNL or if their team did or did not win a national GAL or ECNL or US Club title. Not. One. Bit.

If your kid is talented, get her info camps and get her video in front of coaches at the right level and the offers will follow.

This ******* contest over which team is better was cute a few years ago but most of these girls are sophomores now. Time to wake up and stop worrying about meaningless wins and losses, folks.

                    yes mostly...and no

Fact is bottom teams don't get the coach turnout that better ones do. In part that's because the better teams have more players of interest that more coaches want to see. But also most times coaches have to prioritize who they go see at events because even a mid level program will get a few hundred emails of interest. Lower level games can get lower priority

Clubs also develop reputations. Good clubs where college coaches have had success get moved up; poor ones where they haven't as often (or are unfamiliar) moved down.

Then, if god forbid they come see you play and your team is terrible, it doesn't set a good tone.

Not insurmountable but in the recruiting game little things can help - even if it's just getting a door opened faster because of the club you're with or team you're one

Ssh, don't tell that to Bayside, Aztec, or Select parents. There's actually a Youtube video of SSS on the news for an NPL championship. NPL.
Stars Blue going up against someone like Solar (who has several players on U15 YNT) in the ECNL championship is so far beyond what any
other New England team does. But at a certain point you have to leave people to their ignorance and move on-- it's about the development
                      and commits.

you can't really get on South Shore Select or Bayside they are on a different level than ECNL or even GA teams-yes I know South Shore Select is in the GA, but they only had 1 team qualify, so they don't really count- but both clubs Bayside and South Shore Select bread and butter is in NPL and winning. That's how they sell both programs win by winning NPL tournaments

AND on a different front, as a proud Blue parent....South Shore Select thank you very much for your old 07 goalie. She will be a great addition for the Blue community. Thank you!!

Or spoken like a parent who has been there and gone through the process already, but I already knew this would fall on deaf ears. Hopefully someone else can take it for what it’s worth.

The rest of you can keep arguing about which of your daughter’s team’s reigns supreme this week.
