Nobody said what? Someone called me a troll not long ago and told me to run along.

I just want our team to stick together. I don't think everyone should be driving all over for girls soccer.

    It's silly.

I just think all this travel is silly and it breaks up the teams. It's supposed to be about teamwork, right?

These clubs ripping players from the rosters is just ruining the experience for us.
Since you're new to this, let me explain. You're right, those town travel players aren't all that good and don't need to play club. But the coach of the club team told them that they're super duper special and if Daddy writes a big enough check, he'll put them on the team and they can get a very special patch for their uniform and Daddy can brag to his friends about his lil princess's elite soccer team, and Daddy's a fool and a sucker but he does love the way elite sounds, so he wrote that check.

You're right..very silly. But how else can Daddy live through his daughter and convince himself that she's special? And there is that special patch.

A sample size of 31 and only one instance if consecutive gameday playing? Sorry that is quite a small sample size I'd like to see more data. I'd like to see a confirmed by multiple studies by various teams as well. One very small study proves nothing!

The List- Girls 2007 (Week two)

The season kicked off with a bang. Things will get even more interesting this week with three of our list teams traveling to PDA. They'll see some great competition down in NJ. Let me borrow a line from Friday Night Lights (the movie, not the TV show) "The not so good news is that it looks like all roads are eventually leading to Dallas-Cater. And what a monster of a team Dallas Carter is."

Without further ado, here’s the best MA girls 2007 preview you’ll read all week.

          1. Spirit of Liverpool

Results move the list, and Spirit of Liverpool took care of business in week one by dispatching WUP. Now go out this week and beat the CFC team that just knocked off the baddest little team in the land. Otherwise, it's going to be a short stay at the top.

          2. NEFC Pre-NPL

Was not expecting CFC Sky North to pull off a 2-1 upset, but that's why you play the games. Sometimes you can control the run of play, but not convert your chances, and you take the loss. It'll be a small bump in the road come June and bigger fish are coming up this weekend.

          3. FC Stars Pre-ECNL

Had a bye last week. I-95 South in a couple days. Sweet to miss school on Friday! Opening game is against NEFC Pre-NPL. I'm calling winner of that game makes the top bracket final.

          4. GPS Boston

Beat NEFC North 3-0. Nicely done. Nothing on the schedule for this coming week, so sit back and enjoy the number 4 spot for now.

          5. South Shore Select AP

Select beat FCUSA Coastal 1-0. Sometimes the scoreline doesn't paint a picture of how the game really went, but sticking with the football analogies (college this time) this sort of feels like USC beating Western Kentucky 7-0.

          6. Scorpions Pre-ECNL

Off last weekend. World Class and CFC coming up this weekend. Would have been great to see these three teams at PDA as well.

Will be some very good games down in NJ this weekend. Our three list teams are all in the top bracket at PDA. NEFC & Stars are paired with East Meadow and NJ Stallions while Select is on the other side with Syracuse Development Academy, Century United & "Dallas-Cater" AKA PDA's 2007 team. Based on their showing at Jefferson Cup, PDA will be the team to beat.

Rooting for all of our MA teams this weekend. Safe travels. As the saying goes, “results move the list.” Whoever is triggered by “the list,” let the outrage flow.

Looks like the list will get a shake again. Let's see how tomorrow works out but based on today's results:

          1. NEFC Pre-NPL- Never should have dropped and proved that with 2 wins at PDA
          2. Spirit of Liverpool-Need to go on a run to move past NEFC
          3. GPS Boston- In good form and better results lately moving them up
          4. South Shore Select A- So far so good getting results at PDA
          5. FC Stars Pre-ECNL- Not a good showing this weekend working their way down the list
          6. Scorpions Pre-ECNL- results pending

Is this why NEFC, SSS, SPOL not allowed in ECNL? College coaches need to pay attention. There are great players not playing in ECNL.

Uh, none of these kids are playing in ECNL. They are 12.

Get a pen and connect the dots. That's the issue, not one league has all the great players. Kapish. It's a poopshow out there. The coaches know this and aren't happy either.

News flash. Not all players are being picked from ECNL.

Newsflash NPL just got seriously watered down following Jr DA announcement. What a mess. Will be interesting to see how things shake out

FC Stars Pre-ECNL needs an overhaul at this age group or they will end up bottom of the barrel next year.

Maybe they just need to have all of their 07s playing in right age group and not up

I’ve heard this group also has a few 2008s. Question answered.

Last place in their Jefferson cup bracket with no wins despite being in second bracket and only 3 goals
