Most of you have absolutely zero clue, if college is the end game. College coaches don’t recruit teams. They recruit players. No one cares one little bit which color ECNL team your kid was on or if they played GAL instead of ECNL or if their team did or did not win a national GAL or ECNL or US Club title. Not. One. Bit.
If your kid is talented, get her info camps and get her video in front of coaches at the right level and the offers will follow.
This ******* contest over which team is better was cute a few years ago but most of these girls are sophomores now. Time to wake up and stop worrying about meaningless wins and losses, folks.

Fact is bottom teams don't get the coach turnout that better ones do. In part that's because the better teams have more players of interest that more coaches want to see. But also most times coaches have to prioritize who they go see at events because even a mid level program will get a few hundred emails of interest. Lower level games can get lower priority
Clubs also develop reputations. Good clubs where college coaches have had success get moved up; poor ones where they haven't as often (or are unfamiliar) moved down.
Then, if god forbid they come see you play and your team is terrible, it doesn't set a good tone.
Not insurmountable but in the recruiting game little things can help - even if it's just getting a door opened faster because of the club you're with or team you're one

Stars Blue going up against someone like Solar (who has several players on U15 YNT) in the ECNL championship is so far beyond what any
other New England team does. But at a certain point you have to leave people to their ignorance and move on-- it's about the development
and commits.
