Losing might not build character as you said, but it certainly makes my daughter a better soccer player playing against some of the best teams in the country, but hey each to his/her own. I'm glad -seriously- that you like playing bad teams and winning.

NEFC dad. Serious question. How was the GA competition at your NC event? I’m not familiar with the teams you played. Good, bad, mediocre?

Answer...... the same!!! They would 10000% go O-2
MUCH STRONGER teams in the ECNL compared to GA. Not even a question. ECNL is 10x better. I'd rather have my daughter lose against better competition than play the likes of Empire United, South Shore Select, Oakwood and Seacoast. Honestly, who wouldn't????

I agree they'd likely be anywhere in that 3-6 place range with their team as is. Then I'd think theyd benefit from recruiting because they are a better club than some of their ecnl neighbors, league badge aside. NEFC into ECNL would be a huge win as long as FC STars dropped this two team stupidity. FC STars is not PDA and they are not capable of fielding two teams at every age group and being competitive. They should have one team.

FC Stars has a terrible weekend but yet the conversation is on NEFC who had a good weekend. Makes no sense. Sounds like deflection to me.

I wonder if the crazy soccer parents from other states come here to read up on the crazy soccer parents from MA bashing each other and just laugh. Everyone tossing insults about the quality of the other league and thumping chests about the quality of their own when in reality if you take the top teams in MA and have them play nationally it doesn't work out regardless of what league it is. This, IMO, isn't due to the quality of the talent on the field but cant be traced back to the in-fighting at the club level and protection of territory.
This is why it would be nice if ODP could get back to being seen as a legit thing and supported by all the clubs. Then we could see the top players in the state train and play without all the strings attached
