No kidding the FC Stars team is horrible! all the best players are at NEFC, SS, SOL. Did Stars really think they could compete in the top division of this tournament!?!? Put the kids in a lower division where they can actually compete and not feel bad about themselves getting killed 6-1!

Betting the farm on an all ECNL final and FC Stars for the win.

Good luck with the farm. Seriously could the stars coaches get off this thread putting their team in top of rankings and saying they will win. Just another cheap way to get parents to come to your club. Hey try actually developing your own talent. Scorpions struggled in NEP lost players to Stars and they are every bit as good as Stars. Can we move Stars white out of the top 10 and Blue out of the top 5 where they belong.

Yes big win for select, who last year lost a top player to nefc. How can they possibly beat Stars 6-1 let’s say it together they actually develop their players. If clubs paid more attention to their own players, reduced roster sizes and played locally wouldn’t they improve quicker? Stars are driving to the fields in luxury cars with coaching as their only job off the 16th-22nd players on their rosters. Might not be enough though I heard they are going to make parents give them an oil change as well.

Sweeping generalizations? It’s easy to make sweeping generalizations about the Stars Blue ans White teams, they both suck! Parents are paying tons of money and the talent isn’t there. The parents are traveling all over to lose when they could just lose locally. No one at this age should lose 6-1, that’s a slaughter! Don’t tell me it’s cold, all the kids were cold but one team managed to win. Don’t tell me someone was sick, Stars, you are full of excuses, coaches keep collecting your money to not develop players.

Ss Select, congrats to you on your win! You dropping that supposed top player who was uncoachable has helped your team, not hurt. That kid you “lost” is known for having a poor attitude and no team wants that. You are doing just fine without her. Congrats on tying NEFC too, go get them in the finals!

The NEFC girls woke up at 5:30 am and drove an hour from the Mendon area to Weymouth and just played a tough game against SSS, indoors. Now they had to hop in a car and drive another hour and a half to go play Stars on their home field in Lancaster, outside.

Stars is rested and was embarrassed last night. Don't be shocked if they come out and take the game to NEFC today. Despite laying an egg last night, they have been a good team this year.

NEFC is the best team in MA, but they aren't unbeatable. Ease back on your finals predictions Nostradamus.
