NEFC and multiple other GA players called into the u17 National team camp. Very impressive.

Maybe while they are there they can recruit some new players so they will be as good as Select.

select already has 2 starters on the U-17 national team which is more than any other club around. NEFC dad bragging that a few girls are getting the call up is pretty funny. Select has been there 3 years ago. MEANS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING unless they play alot. Who wants to get called up NOT to play in a game? If its the 2 girls I think it is they have zero chance of playing. Good players in Mass. for absolutely sure, but definitely not national worthy.

Most of what we do on here is crazy. No one needs to validate their choice of clubs. Why should any of us care what club another family chooses? If it works for your daughter to play GA, ECNL, town or on the 5th place team in a recreational indoor league why should I care? If your daughter loves playing on NEFC's D team or Stars E team why should I care? If your daughter loves playing ECNL rather than GA why should I care? People need to get over themselves in a big way on here.

What is the purpose of playing in a national league with no exposure? I was really hoping this would work out, but this pretty much seals it.

2007 Stars and Scorpions may get a whole lot stronger next year.

Which team/coach is right depends on your daughter as much as the coach and team. The 3 ECNL teams in MA all have pros and cons just like any other club/team. One thing that seems to be true of all 3 is that the girls themselves are talented and collegial.

Here's what ECNL is - it's a club soccer league. One that generally offers very competitive games and good exposure. Nothing more. Nothing less. It isn't perfect by any means. Whether you like it or not depends a lot on what your goals are, what you put into it, what kind of teammate you are and the teammates you have, whether you click with or can at least tolerate your coach etc. - things that are true of almost any situation.
