Hard to do when an existing quality squad leaves for a LATERAL move due to coach ego and shenanigans.
What is incredible is the amount of great teams and players coming out of a terrible location population wise-testament to coaches and players
Most don't leave for LATERAL move......they move because their needs aren't being met!

No they leave for fear of the unknown regarding new coaching. Not the first time have seen this happen. Coach is with the same group for a period of time. Coach decides to leave. Team would rather stay with coach and leave club than stay with club and be uncertain about coaching situation.

Coaches change, and should change every 2-3 years anyway. I know these kids are really young and not used to getting out of their comfort zone. Heck, some are still needing escorts for the port-a-potties. They like the comfort of mommy, so the coaching change can be scary for these little kids.
Once they grow up and are at a more reasonable age to have this discussion, it won't even be needed.
We enjoy & appreciate that our players club floats all coaches throughout teams. To me personally, I believe it might be best to have exposure to more than one coach.

Exposure to more than one coach isn't the same thing as having a different coach every couple of weeks, which is what the Stars tend to do. A coach a season is sufficient change and exposure. Keeping a team with the same coach leads to stagnation, especially when a coach isn't that knowledgeable in the first place. More than a few talented teams have been burned by leaving a coach too long.

Parents don't want change so they take the player with the coach

These kids are young. I get it. Change can be scary. It's like trying a new type of food or meeting someone new. It's hard on these little kids to think about all the newness for them.

The kids that left with the coach aren't that young, that was a 2003 team I believe.
FC Stars have much nicer uniforms that look better in Instagram videos and the awesome ice cream place across the street from the FC Stars Complex is a huge plus.
