You dont have to be a part time DA player to play at a high level, especially in this area. NEFC and GPS recruits doing just fine, and trending even better.

We aren’t interested in college soccer. Our kids have higher goals.

Let me guess, age 13, 14 tops? If they're any good they'd be known already. If they're any good you'd be wise to move abroad or to NY or Philly or the West Coast. But they're not that good, so you'll suck it up at the Revs. Make sure they keep their grades up or sign them up for trade school.

Nothing wrong with trade school. Lots of money to be made there too.

Nothing wrong at all. But if college isn't the goal but going pro is? Send them to trade school. Definitely send them to trade school if you think the Revs will help you go pro.

Oh, they’re already known. That you don’t know doesn’t surprise me.

Well it’s not as rosy as some would think. These great schools are academically grueling. It’s very difficult to maintain a high GPA and make a full soccer commitment. There is very little down time especially in the fall season.

Thankfully Revs kids go on to the trades so they don’t need to worry about things like GPAs and time management.

Sounds right for an aspiring pro player.

There’s a higher percentage of ex-Revs Academy players landscaping than playing professional soccer.

Trade school? Great. No real plan for post HS other than hoping to go pro? Not a good plan.

True for every sport. Higher percentage of former Duke basketball players not playing professionally than professionally.

Did you just compare a D1 athlete with a Duke degree to an ex-Revs DA landscaper?
