What a strange tournament. The ManU U13 academy team coming all the way here to play Best FC and Strikers United on the final day. Has to be a trialist team, right? The poor ODP team is going to have a tough weekend.....

You realize the majority of high school freshman are still 14 at the time of those fall scheduled SAT tests, right?

You’re 14 as a freshman too, genius. I’m sure he’ll keep getting higher scores. Oh wait, did you think that students can’t take SATs abroad? 😂😂

Well, your poor child. I hope he gets into a great college so that you think he had a successful childhood.

He's playing major minutes with a top professional European club and getting 1600 on his SAT's.

            Let's see how this ends.

Sad that you dragged him away from his friends for your nutty scheme. So much for a childhood.

I’m sure he has broadened his pool of friends and kept in touch with his old friends. Kinda like what happens when you go to college, right?

It will end better than schlepping out to Foxboro to waste time with a loser like PO!

Some Revs players are already doing this, but others may have a real problem with it (either player or parents). This restriction alone may make it difficult to attract the best players, leaving the Revs with the best players willing to be home schooled. This may be a particularly hard sell if they cut younger teams out of their academy. Older kids will have already settled into their high schools and may be unwilling to trade the academic and social dynamic for home schooling.

MLS clubs like Sounders, Dallas, Galaxy, Philly, Atlanta provide access to online HS for full-time training with an onsite Head of Education and Welfare.

Pro soccer should not be for harvard-bound, but for field bound. In Europe, that translates to a separate ladder from the academics who pursue college. Works pretty good. Am I right? Not rocket science.
Would also entail being able to sell assets - a reimbursement for development. Current MLS has 0 incentive to develop kids. #Supplyanddemand. #Capitalism.

Should be. Then there's the reality of US education. Sports and school are intertwined here. Soccer would be one of the few sports not using college for farm teams. Nor do many families want to take chances with their kids education for a sport that doesn't pay much (relative to the big sports) and has a short career span. If you're a Pulisic that's different. I'm talking average MLS players which is as high as the Revs could ever hope to achieve and they haven't done that well

Hopefully it will be harder to source drugs in Atlanta.
