The only reason the Revs signed Angking was because he was getting some interest from 2nd and 3rd division European clubs because of his NT duty. That's all. Scales was feeling the heat after the whole Rennicks fiasco. Revs have no International bargaining power, no Sporting director and no scouts. Mike Burns is a global insignificant nobody, domestically or abroad.

He continues to push his undersized son into the limelight too. The kid is like any other middle of the pack NPL player.

Why? For something to do? To keep in shape? What the point of college soccer anyway? Why sit in traffic and miss half your high school years, including weekends, to aim for playing soccer in college? Baffles me.

Recent Revs academy seniors have been shut out because of poor grades. Not going to mention names but, some are PG'ing at preps, opting for state schools etc....be careful what the Revs offer. They have absolutely 0 clout with colleges. In fact, their academy soccer program is widely viewed as very poor.

The only objective is signing a home grown every few years. It justifies their raison d'etre to the Krafts. Last year was Isaac Angking ( the dumbest prospective first team player since Fagundez) Dumb as a rock and a borderline delinquent. My kid loves playing soccer, that’s the point. He is not missing anything in High School, and will love playing in college. Worry about your own kid, not mine.

There is very little effort playing for the Revs. It is free, they take care of travel, practice is only 3x a week. It’s easy.
